🇧🇷 Evangelho do Dia 09/07/2018 🇺🇸 Daily Gospel 07/09/2018

A tua fé te salvou.
 Your faith has saved you.

Evangelho -
Mateus 9,18-26

A tua fé te salvou”. E a mulher ficou curada a partir daquele instante. E começaram a caçoar dele.

Gospel - Matthew 9,18-26
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ According to Matthew - 18As Jesus was speaking, a chief approached, bowed deeply before him and said, "My daughter has just died. But come, lay your hand upon it, and it shall live. " 19Jesus rose and followed him, along with his disciples. 20Now a woman who suffered from bleeding 12 years ago came up behind him and touched the hem of his robe. She thought to herself, "If I can even touch his cloak, I will be healed." 22Jesus turned and saw her and said, "Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you. " And the woman was healed from that moment. 23And when he had come to the chief's house, he saw the flute players and the multitude of them, and said, "Depart, for the child is not dead, but she is asleep." And they began to mock him. 25And when the multitude was departed, Jesus went in, and took the child by the hand, and she arose. 26 This news spread throughout the land. - Word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
Some gestures and words of the chief demonstrate his faith in the power of Jesus: to approach, to kneel before him, and the certainty that Jesus, laying his hands on the deceased, will make her live. Unlike other leaders, such as Herod, who killed children, and Herod Antipas, who had the Baptist's head cut off, this chief recognizes his limits, seeks Jesus and desires good for his daughter. May our rulers follow their example: to feel the needs of the people and to help them! Also praiseworthy is the courage and faith of the sick woman. By simple and deep faith she is free from her infirmity. In the house of the chief, Jesus dispenses curious and noisy, common and useless in these circumstances. Jesus does not show. What it does is demonstrate the power of God and consolidate his Kingdom.

Rezando
Salmo 144/145.

Rezando
Every day I will bless you, / I will praise your name forever. / Great is the Lord and very worthy of praise, / and no one can measure his greatness. One age tells the other your works / and publishes your mighty deeds; / proclaim all the splendor of your glory / and spread your wonderful works! Tell all your mighty works, / and of your immensity all speak. / They remember your love so great / and exalt, O Lord, your righteousness. Mercy and pity is the Lord, / it is love, it is patience, it is compassion. / The Lord is very good to all, / His tenderness embraces every creature. Psalm 144/145.
