Happy those who the Lord find awake when he arrives.
1a. Leitura - Romanos 5,12.15.17-21
1st Reading - Romans 5,12.15.17-21
Reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Romans – Brothers, 12 sin entered the world through one man. Through sin, death came in. And death passed to all men, because all sinned. 15 the transgression of one brought the human crowd to death, but it was so much more than the grace of God, that is, the free gift given by one man, Jesus Christ, if spilled in abundance over all. 17 By a man, the lack of one man, death began to reign. More reign in life, by the mediation of one, Jesus Christ, those who receive the free gift and superabundant justice. 18 As the lack of a single led to condemnation for all men, so the Act of one justice, for all men, the justification that gives life. 19 indeed, as by one man's disobedience, humanity was established in a State of sin, so also, by the obedience of one, all mankind will go into a State of Justice. 20 However, where has multiplied the sin, then grace. 21 Finally, as SIN's reign by death, the free reign for Justice, to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. -The word of the Lord.
Evangelho - Lucas 12,35-38
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke-at that time, Jesus said to his disciples: 35 "That your kidneys are girded and your lamps burning. Headquarters and 36 men who are waiting for your Lord returned from a wedding reception to open the door immediately, as soon as he gets back and hit. 37 Happy employees that the Lord find agreed upon arrival. Verily I say to you, he will gird himself, make them sit down at the table and passing, the serve. 38 and if he arrives at midnight or at three in the morning, happy will be the find! "– the word of salvation.
Girded loins and lighted lamps indicate readiness and active surveillance. Dipped in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, in the administration of the worldly goods, people leave to escape the opportunity to live the values of the Kingdom. This is the danger that surrounds all living surrounded by constant proposals and seductions of consumer society. The Christian lives in the world without being of the world, as stated Jesus about his disciples (Jn 17, 11.16). The community must be in continuous surveillance, true to the word and the action of Jesus. The world won't distract us from our commitments. So, when you visit with your free or at the hour of our death, we find standing by the service of Justice and brotherhood. Jesus himself will honor us with your favors.
Salmo 39/40.

But be happy and rejoice in you/every search you, Sir! /Say: "it's great!"/those who seek your aid in thee. Psalm 39/40.
