Evangelho - Lucas 11,1-4
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke - 1 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples asked him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples." 2 Jesus answered: "when you pray, say: ' Father, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come. 3 give us each day our daily bread we need 4 and forgive us our sins, for we also forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation ' ". -The word of salvation.
Refletindo o Evangelho
Jesus is man of constant prayer. His testimony awakens us disciples the desire to learn to pray. Jesus teaches a prayer of few words, but impregnated of the essential. First, we can call God father, and ask that he is blessed, it is respected, that your name not be profaned. And that your reign is established in the world: it is in fact God governing human history. Secondly, we ask for bread, enough to live on. Then, we ask that God forgive us our sins, and give you the assurance that we also forgive those who offend us. Let us not stray from the path that leads to God, that is, the path of brotherhood and peace, since we're, at any moment, tempted by the society that surrounds us to adopt the practices of injustice.
Piedade de mim, ó Senhor, / porque clamo por vós todo o dia! / Animai e alegrai vosso servo, / pois a vós eu elevo a minha alma. Ó Senhor, vós sois bom e clemente, / sois perdão para quem vos invoca. / Escutai, ó Senhor, minha prece, / o lamento da minha oração! As nações que criastes virão / adorar e louvar vosso nome. / Sois tão grande e fazeis maravilhas: / vós somente sois Deus e Senhor! Salmo 85/86.
Mercy on me, o Lord,/because I cry for you all day! /Animal and your servant rejoice,/because to you I lift up my soul. O Lord, you are good and merciful,/thou forgiveness for who invokes. /Hearken, o Lord, my prayer,/the sorrow of my prayer! The Nations that created come/love and praise thy name. /You're so great and do wonders:/you only you are God and Lord. Psalm 85/86.
