roclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Mateus 16,13-19 – Naquele tempo, 13Jesus foi à região de Cesareia de Filipe e ali perguntou aos seus discípulos: “Quem dizem os homens ser o Filho do Homem?” 14Eles responderam: “Alguns dizem que é João Batista; outros, que é Elias; outros, ainda, que é Jeremias ou algum dos profetas”. 15Então Jesus lhes perguntou: “vós, quem dizeis que eu sou?” 16Simão Pedro respondeu: “Tu és o Messias, o Filho do Deus vivo”. 17Respondendo, Jesus lhe disse: “Feliz és tu, Simão, filho de Jonas, porque não foi um ser humano que te revelou isso, mas o meu Pai que está no céu. 18Por isso eu te digo que tu és Pedro, e sobre esta pedra construirei a minha Igreja, e o poder do inferno nunca poderá vencê-la. 19Eu te darei as chaves do Reino dos céus: tudo o que tu ligares na terra será ligado nos céus; tudo o que tu desligares na terra será desligado nos céus”. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 16,13-19 - At that time, 13Jesus went to the region of Caesarea Philippi and asked his disciples there: "Who do men say that I am the Son of Man?" 14They replied, “Some say it is John the Baptist; others, which is Elias; still others, that it is Jeremiah or one of the prophets ”. 15Then Jesus asked them, "Who do you say that I am?" 16Simão Peter replied: "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God". 17In reply, Jesus said to him: “Happy are you, Simon, son of Jonah, because it was not a human being who revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. 18 Therefore I say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the power of hell can never overcome it. 19I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven; whatever you disconnect on earth will be disconnected in the heavens ”. - Word of salvation.

Ó Jesus, Filho do Deus vivo, confiaste ao apóstolo Pedro a responsabilidade sobre a Tua Igreja nascente. Concede, Senhor, ao sucessor dele, o papa, a sabedoria necessária para conduzir eficazmente Teu “rebanho” em todo o mundo. Amém.

O Jesus, Son of the living God, you have entrusted the responsibility for Your nascent Church to the apostle Peter. Grant, Lord, to his successor, the pope, the wisdom necessary to effectively lead Your “flock” throughout the world. Amen.
