Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos 7,1-13 – Naquele tempo, 1os fariseus e alguns mestres da Lei vieram de Jerusalém e se reuniram em torno de Jesus. 2Eles viam que alguns dos seus discípulos comiam o pão com as mãos impuras, isto é, sem as terem lavado. 3Com efeito, os fariseus e todos os judeus só comem depois de lavar bem as mãos, seguindo a tradição recebida dos antigos. 4Ao voltar da praça, eles não comem sem tomar banho. E seguem muitos outros costumes que receberam por tradição: a maneira certa de lavar copos, jarras e vasilhas de cobre. 5Os fariseus e os mestres da Lei perguntaram então a Jesus: “Por que os teus discípulos não seguem a tradição dos antigos, mas comem o pão sem lavar as mãos?” 6Jesus respondeu: “Bem profetizou Isaías a vosso respeito, hipócritas, como está escrito: ‘Este povo me honra com os lábios, mas seu coração está longe de mim. 7De nada adianta o culto que me prestam, pois as doutrinas que ensinam são preceitos humanos’. 8Vós abandonais o mandamento de Deus para seguir a tradição dos homens”. 9E dizia-lhes: “Vós sabeis muito bem como anular o mandamento de Deus a fim de guardar as vossas tradições. 10Com efeito, Moisés ordenou: ‘Honra teu pai e tua mãe’. E ainda: ‘Quem amaldiçoa o pai ou a mãe, deve morrer’. 11Mas vós ensinais que é lícito alguém dizer a seu pai e à sua mãe: ‘O sustento que vós poderíeis receber de mim é Corban, isto é, consagrado a Deus’. 12E essa pessoa fica dispensada de ajudar seu pai ou sua mãe. 13Assim vós esvaziais a Palavra de Deus com a tradição que vós transmitis. E vós fazeis muitas outras coisas como estas”. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 7,1-13 - At that time, the Pharisees and some teachers of the Law came from Jerusalem and gathered around Jesus. 2They saw that some of their disciples were eating bread with unclean hands, that is, without having washed them. 3 Indeed, the Pharisees and all Jews only eat after washing their hands thoroughly, following the tradition received from the ancients. 4 Upon returning from the square, they do not eat without bathing. And they follow many other customs that they received by tradition: the right way to wash copper cups, jars and vessels. 5The Pharisees and teachers of the Law then asked Jesus: “Why do your disciples not follow the tradition of the ancients, but eat bread without washing their hands?” 6Jesus replied: “Isaiah prophesied about you, hypocrites, as it is written:‘ This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 7 There is no point in the worship they give me, because the doctrines they teach are human precepts'. 8You abandon the commandment of God to follow the tradition of men ”. 9And he said to them: “You know very well how to annul God's command in order to keep your traditions. 10 In effect, Moses ordered: 'Honor your father and your mother'. And yet: "Whoever curses the father or mother, must die". 11But you teach that it is lawful for someone to say to their father and mother: ‘The support you could receive from me is Corban, that is, consecrated to God’. 12And that person is exempt from helping his father or mother. 13 So you empty the Word of God with the tradition that you transmit. And you do many other things like these ”. - Word of salvation.

Ó Jesus Mestre, fariseus e doutores da Lei acusam Teus discípulos de não seguir a tradição dos antepassados por comer com as mãos sujas. Citando Isaías, provas que eles, ao praticar a tradição antiga, desprezam o mandamento de Deus. Pior: invalidam a Palavra de Deus. Amarga repreensão. Amém.
To Pray
O Jesus Master, Pharisees and Doctors of the Law accuse Your disciples of not following the tradition of the ancestors by eating with dirty hands. Quoting Isaiah, evidence that they, in practicing the ancient tradition, despise the commandment of God. Worse, they invalidate the Word of God. Bitter rebuke. Amen.
