Proclamação do evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Lucas 13, 10-17 – Naquele tempo, 10Jesus estava ensinando numa sinagoga em dia de sábado. 11Havia aí uma mulher que, fazia dezoito anos, estava com um espírito que a tornava doente. Era encurvada e incapaz de se endireitar. 12Vendo-a, Jesus chamou-a e lhe disse: “Mulher, estás livre da tua doença”. 13Jesus colocou as mãos sobre ela, e imediatamente a mulher se endireitou e começou a louvar a Deus. 14O chefe da sinagoga ficou furioso, porque Jesus tinha feito uma cura em dia de sábado. E, tomando a palavra, começou a dizer à multidão: “Existem seis dias para trabalhar. Vinde, então, nesses dias para serdes curados, mas não em dia de sábado”. 15O Senhor lhe respondeu: “Hipócritas! Cada um de vós não solta do curral o boi ou o jumento para dar-lhe de beber, mesmo que seja dia de sábado? 16Esta filha de Abraão, que satanás amarrou durante dezoito anos, não deveria ser libertada dessa prisão em dia de sábado?” 17Esta resposta envergonhou todos os inimigos de Jesus. E a multidão inteira se alegrava com as maravilhas que ele fazia. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 10: 46-52 - At that time, Jesus left Jericho with his disciples and a large crowd. The son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, blind and beggar, was sitting by the roadside. 47When he heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by, he began to shout, "Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me!" 48 Many rebuked him to keep silent. But he cried even more: "Son of David, have mercy on me!" 49Then Jesus stopped and said, "Call him." They called him and said, "Courage, get up, Jesus calls you!" The blind man tossed his cloak, jumped, and went to Jesus. 51Then Jesus said to him, "What do you want me to do to you?" The blind man replied, "Teacher, let me see!" 52 Jesus said, "Go, your faith has healed you." Instantly he recovered his sight and followed Jesus on the way. - Word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho 

Jesus ensina na sinagoga em dia de sábado. Até aqui, tudo normal. O que vem a seguir é que causa desconforto e deixa o chefe da sinagoga “indignado”. Jesus cura uma mulher encurvada, símbolo dos oprimidos. Naturalmente, ela sentia-se inferior aos outros. A cura se dá pela imposição das mãos e a soberana confirmação de Jesus: “Mulher, você está livre de sua doença”. O chefe da sinagoga, inconformado, recomenda que não venham para ser curados em dia de sábado. Hipócritas é o nome mais adequado que Jesus diz a ele e aos demais que pensam como ele. Falsos, incoerentes, eles salvam seus animais no dia de descanso sabático; por que o Mestre não podia salvar uma “filha de Abraão”? Vergonha para “todos os inimigos de Jesus” e alegria da multidão “por todas as maravilhas que Jesus realizava”.Adaptado de site da internet por Flávio. 

Reflecting the Gospel
