"Proclamação do evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Lucas 11,29-32 – Naquele tempo, ²⁹quando as multidões se reuniram em grande quantidade, Jesus começou a dizer: “Esta geração é uma geração má. Ela busca um sinal, mas nenhum sinal lhe será dado, a não ser o sinal de Jonas. ³⁰Com efeito, assim como Jonas foi um sinal para os ninivitas, assim também será o Filho do homem para esta geração. ³¹No dia do julgamento, a rainha do Sul se levantará juntamente com os homens desta geração e os condenará. Porque ela veio de uma terra distante para ouvir a sabedoria de Salomão. E aqui está quem é maior do que Salomão. ³²No dia do julgamento, os ninivitas se levantarão juntamente com esta geração e a condenarão. Porque eles se converteram quando ouviram a pregação de Jonas. E aqui está quem é maior do que Jonas”. – Palavra da salvação."

"Proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 11: 29-32 - At that time, when the crowds gathered in great numbers, Jesus began to say: "This generation is an evil generation. She seeks a sign, but no sign will be given to her, except the sign of Jonah. 30 For just as Jonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of man be to this generation. 31 On the day of judgment, the queen of the South will rise with the men of this generation and condemn them. For she came from a land far away to hear the wisdom of Solomon. And here is who is greater than Solomon. 32 On the day of judgment the Ninevites shall rise up together with this generation, and shall condemn it. Because they were converted when they heard the preaching of Jonah. And here is who is greater than Jonah. " - Word of salvation."

Refletindo o Evangelho

"O resultado da ação missionária de Jesus parece não corresponder às suas expectativas. Muita semeadura, mas colheita escassa; preciosos ensinamentos, porém caídos em terreno árido. A decepção se dá, não porque Jesus trabalha demais e vê poucos frutos; afinal, ele é um mestre sem preguiça. Ele se aborrece porque “essa geração é uma geração má”: todos aqueles que não se abrem aos valores do Reino de Deus. Com efeito, Jonas prega aos pagãos e obtém resultados mais que satisfatórios; Salomão é procurado pela rainha de Sabá, que vem de longe para escutar a sua sabedoria. Tanto os ninivitas, quanto a rainha do Sul, foram dóceis à pregação dos profetas de Deus. Essa geração, ao invés, ignora a presença e a voz do próprio Filho de Deus. No julgamento, prestarão contas de sua escolha."

Reflecting the Gospel

"The outcome of Jesus' missionary action does not seem to live up to his expectations. Much sowing, but scarce harvesting; precious teachings, but fallen on dry ground. The disappointment is not because Jesus works too hard and sees little fruit; after all, he is a master without laziness. He is annoyed because "this generation is an evil generation": all those who do not open themselves to the values of the Kingdom of God. Indeed, Jonah preaches to the pagans and obtains more than satisfactory results; Solomon is sought by the queen of Sheba, who comes from afar to hear his wisdom. Both the Ninevites and the Queen of the South were docile to the preaching of the prophets of God. This generation, on the other hand, ignores the presence and the voice of the Son of God Himself. At the trial, they will account for their choice."
