🇧🇷 Evangelho do Dia 04/10/18 🇺🇸 Daily Gospel 10/04/18

Estás livre da tua doença.
You are free of your disease.

Evangelho

"Lucas 13,10-17.

Gospel
"Luke 13, 10-17. Proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke - At that time, Jesus was teaching in a synagogue on the Sabbath. 11 There was a woman there who, eighteen years old, had a spirit that made her sick. She was bent and unable to straighten. 12 Seeing her, Jesus called her and said to her, "Woman, you are free from your disease." 13 Jesus laid his hands on her, and immediately the woman straightened up and began to praise God. 14The ruler of the synagogue was furious, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath. And he began to say to the multitude, "There are six days to work. Come then, in those days, that you may be healed, but not on the sabbath day. " 15The Lord said to him, "You hypocrites! Do not every one of you bring ox or donkey out of the pen to give him a drink, even on a Sabbath day? 16This daughter of Abraham, who satan bound for eighteen years, should not be delivered from that prison on the Sabbath? "17 This answer shamed all the enemies of Jesus. And the whole crowd rejoiced with the wonders he did. - Word of salvation."

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
"The scheme repeats itself, as it repeats the incomprehension of the religious leaders. Jesus teaches in the synagogue on the Sabbath day. There is a bent woman, symbol of the people overloaded with heavy bales. Without her saying a word, Jesus, with an order and laying on of hands, frees her from her infirmity: "at the same instant she straightened up." Free and now happy, she begins to glorify God. Discomfort for the head of the synagogue who, attached to his hypocritical legalism, tries to prevent others from glorifying God as standing beings. Jesus argues that this "daughter of Abraham" is more important than a religion that does not deliver and weighs only on people. The enemies of Jesus are embarrassed, and the crowd "rejoiced for all the wonders that Jesus performed.""

Salmo 67/68

Psalm 67/68
"Our God is a God who saves, He is a liberating God! Behold, God riseth up, and his enemies are scattered. / Those who hate the Lord flee away from his face! / But the righteous rejoice in the presence of the Lord, / rejoice and rejoice with joy! Of the orphans he is father and widows protector; / so is our God in his holy habitation. / It is the Lord who gives shelter, gives a home to the disinherited, / who releases the prisoners and satisfies them with plenty. Blessed be God, blessed be, every day, / the God of our salvation, who carries our burdens! / Our God is a God who saves, He is a liberating God; / The Lord, the Lord alone, can deliver us from death!"
