Enviou-os a proclamar o reino de Deus e a curar os enfermos.

Evangelho - Lucas 9,1-6

Proclamação do evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Lucas – Naquele tempo, ¹Jesus convocou os doze, deu-lhes poder e autoridade sobre todos os demônios e para curar doenças ²e enviou-os a proclamar o reino de Deus e a curar os enfermos. ³E disse-lhes: “Não leveis nada para o caminho: nem cajado, nem sacola, nem pão, nem dinheiro, nem mesmo duas túnicas. ⁴Em qualquer casa onde entrardes, ficai aí; e daí é que partireis de novo. ⁵Todos aqueles que não vos acolherem, ao sairdes daquela cidade, sacudi a poeira dos vossos pés como protesto contra eles”. ⁶Os discípulos partiram e percorriam os povoados, anunciando a Boa-Nova e fazendo curas em todos os lugares. – Palavra da salvação.

Gospel - Luke9,1-6

Proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ According to Luke - At that time, Jesus summoned the twelve, gave them power and authority over all demons and healed diseases and sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. 3E said to them, "Take nothing for the way, neither staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money, nor even two coats. 4 In whatever house you enter, stay there; and that is where you will go again. 5 All those who do not welcome you, when you leave that city, shake off the dust of your feet as a protest against them. " 6The disciples left and went about the villages, announcing the Good News and healing everywhere. - Word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

"Jesus não retém para si o cabedal de conhecimentos que possui, nem seus poderes. Transmite-os aos doze apóstolos e os envia para realizarem o que ele fazia publicamente: anunciar o Reino de Deus e curar enfermidades. Uma atividade renovadora. Ensinamento novo e convincente com palavras divinas colhidas na fonte: “Falo estas coisas como o Pai me ensinou” (Jo 8,28). Energia poderosa, toques benfazejos. Curas libertadoras. Tempos messiânicos. Vida nova. Os apóstolos não precisam apoiar-se nos bens materiais; ao contrário, devem despojar-se deles. A gratuidade e a confiança na providência de Deus são as exigências para a missão. Haverá pessoas insensíveis ou avessas à passagem de Deus. Responderão por seus atos. O missionário cristão seguirá seu caminho, sem esmorecer. Como Jesus."

Reflecting the Gospel

"Jesus does not retain for himself the wealth of knowledge he possesses, nor his powers. He transmits them to the twelve apostles and sends them out to accomplish what he did publicly: to proclaim the Kingdom of God and to cure sicknesses. A refreshing activity. New and convincing teaching with divine words from the source: "I speak these things as the Father taught me" (Jn 8,28). Powerful energy, benign touches. Liberating Cures. Messianic times. New life. The apostles need not rely on material goods; on the contrary, they must be stripped of them. Gratuity and trust in the providence of God are the requirements for mission. There will be people insensitive or averse to the passage of God. They will answer for their deeds. The Christian missionary will follow his path, without fainting. Like Jesus."
