Aquele que acredita no Filho possui a vida eterna.

He who believes in the son possesses eternal life.

Reflexão

Quem é da terra fala como terreno. Há pessoas cujos assuntos giram em torno de coisas materiais. Dedicam horas fazendo planos de como aumentar os bens, ganhar mais dinheiro, frequentar bons restaurantes, alcançar fama nesta vida. Esquecem que o ser humano é unidade de corpo e alma. Investem no corpo e deixam de alimentar devidamente o espírito. Jesus nos fala do céu, e o faz com propriedade, porque conhece o Pai e dele nos dá testemunho. Além disso, nos concede, de forma generosa, o Espírito Santo. Se nos deixarmos embalar pelo Espírito, nossa vida terá um salto significativo. Essa riqueza imensa, o Pai a oferece a todos os que aceitam seu Filho Jesus. Em vez de ficar enredada numa vidinha medíocre, a pessoa se liberta para viver aqui a vida plena que desemboca na vida eterna.

Reflection 

He who is of the Earth speaks as terrain. There are people whose affairs revolve around material things. They dedicate hours making plans for how to increase assets, earn more money, attend good restaurants, achieve fame in this life. They forget that the human being is a unit of body and soul. They invest in the body and cease to feed the spirit properly. Jesus speaks to us from heaven, and does it with property, because he knows the father and he gives us testimony. In addition, it generously grants us the Holy Spirit. If we let ourselves be packed by the spirit, our lives will have a significant leap. This immense wealth, the father offers to all who accept his son Jesus. Instead of being enshrouded in a mediocre life, the person is freed to live here the full lives that flows into eternal life.

Leitura dos Atos dos Apóstolos 5,27-33 – Naqueles dias, os guardas 27levaram os apóstolos e os apresentaram ao sinédrio. O sumo sacerdote começou a interrogá-los, 28dizendo: “Nós tínhamos proibido expressamente que vós ensinásseis em nome de Jesus. Apesar disso, enchestes a cidade de Jerusalém com a vossa doutrina. E ainda nos quereis tornar responsáveis pela morte desse homem!” 29Então Pedro e os outros apóstolos responderam: “É preciso obedecer a Deus antes que aos homens. 30O Deus de nossos pais ressuscitou Jesus, a quem vós matastes, pregando-o numa cruz. 31Deus, por seu poder, o exaltou, tornando-o guia supremo e salvador, para dar ao povo de Israel a conversão e o perdão dos seus pecados. 32E disso somos testemunhas, nós e o Espírito Santo, que Deus concedeu àqueles que lhe obedecem”. 33Quando ouviram isso, ficaram furiosos e queriam matá-los. – Palavra do Senhor.

Reading of the Acts of the Apostles 5,27-33 – In those days, the Guards 27led the apostles and presented them to the Sanhedrin. The high priest began questioning them, 28 saying: "We had expressly forbidden you to teach in the name of Jesus. Yet you have filled the city of Jerusalem with your doctrine. And you still want to make us responsible for this man's death! " 29Then Peter and the other apostles replied, "We must obey God before men. 30The God of Our Fathers resurrected Jesus, whom thou hast killed, preaching him on a cross. 31God, by his power, exalted him, making him the Supreme guide and Savior, to give the people of Israel the conversion and forgiveness of their sins. 32And We are witnesses, we and the Holy Spirit, whom God hath bestowed upon them that obey him.
