Jesus ask the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would arrive? Jesus replies that the coming of the Kingdom does not depend on calculations or great rumors. The Kingdom of God has begun in the person Jesus and becomes present and visible whenever people practice their teachings. The day of the Son of Man (Jesus) is the time after his resurrection, which will be crowned with his final manifestation. Then, when He comes to his glory, the fact will be evident to all.

Leitura do livro da Sabedoria 7,22-8,1 – 22Na sabedoria há um espírito inteligente, santo, único, múltiplo, sutil, móvel, perspicaz, imaculado, lúcido, invulnerável, amante do bem, penetrante, 23desimpedido, benfazejo, amigo dos homens, constante, seguro, sem inquietação, que tudo pode, que tudo supervisiona, que penetra todos os espíritos, os inteligentes, os puros, os mais sutis. 24Pois a sabedoria é mais ágil que qualquer movimento e atravessa e penetra tudo por causa da sua pureza. 25Ela é um sopro do poder de Deus, uma emanação pura da glória do Todo-Poderoso; por isso, nada de impuro pode introduzir-se nela: 26ela é um reflexo da luz eterna, espelho sem mancha da atividade de Deus e imagem da sua bondade. 27Sendo única, tudo pode; permanecendo imutável, renova tudo; e, comunicando-se às almas santas de geração em geração, forma os amigos de Deus e os profetas. 28Pois Deus ama tão somente aquele que vive com a sabedoria. 29De fato, ela é mais bela que o sol e supera todas as constelações; comparada à luz, ela tem a primazia: 30pois a luz cede lugar à noite, ao passo que, contra a sabedoria, o mal não prevalece. 8,1Ela se estende, com vigor, de uma extremidade à outra da terra e, com suavidade, governa todas as coisas. – Palavra do Senhor.

Reading the book of Wisdom 7,22-8,1 – 22In wisdom there is an intelligent spirit, holy, unique, multiple, subtle, mobile, insightful, immaculate, lucid, invulnerable, lover of good, penetrating, 23unimpede, benfazejo, friend of men, constant, safe, unrestless, that everything can, that everything supervises, which penetrates all spirits, the intelligent, the pure, the most subtle. 24 For wisdom is more agile than any movement and crosses and penetrates everything because of its purity. 25 It is a breath of the power of God, a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty; therefore, nothing unclean can introduce itself into it: 26it is a reflection of eternal light, mirror without stain of God's activity and image of his goodness. 27Being unique, everything can; remaining immutable, renews everything; and by communicating to holy souls from generation to generation, he forms God's friends and prophets. 28 For God loves only the one who lives with wisdom. 29 In fact, it is more beautiful than the sun and surpasses all constellations; compared to light, she has primacy: 30for light gives way at night, whereas, against wisdom, evil does not prevail. 8,1 It extends, with vigour, from one end to the other of the earth and, with softness, rules all things. Jesus respondeu: “O reino de Deus não vem ostensivamente. 21Nem se poderá dizer: ‘Está aqui’ ou ‘está ali’, porque o reino de Deus está entre vós”. 22E Jesus disse aos discípulos: “Dias virão em que desejareis ver um só dia do Filho do homem e não podereis ver. 23As pessoas vos dirão: ‘Ele está ali’ ou ‘ele está aqui’. Não deveis ir nem correr atrás. 24Pois, como o relâmpago brilha de um lado até o outro do céu, assim também será o Filho do homem no seu dia. 25Antes, porém, ele deverá sofrer muito e ser rejeitado por esta geração”. – Palavra da salvação.
