🇧🇷 Reflexão 27/06/2019 🇺🇸 Reflection

Casa sobre a rocha.
House on the rock.

Jesus encourages us to put into practice all his teachings and makes it clear that the true heir of the kingdom is the one who fulfills the will of God. The vote of approval depends on the good works carried out for the glory of God and the good of others. Other signs, even extraordinary and under the invocation of the name of the Lord, if not accompanied by sincerity of heart, but carried out for dishonest reasons, will be disapproved "that day", moment of accountability. It's not enough to just pray and repeat the name of God. Whoever does the will of the Heavenly Father, revealed by Jesus in the Gospels, will be building up his life on the unshakable rock, which is Christ Himself

1a. Leitura
– Palavra do Senhor.

1st. Reading
Reading of the Book of Genesis 16.1-12.15-16 – 1Sarai, Abram's wife, did not wish her children. But, having an Egyptian slave, called Agar, 2Sarai said to Abram: "Behold, the Lord made me barren. Join my slave to see if I can have children for her. " Abram answered Sarai's request. 3After Abram had lived ten years in Canaan, Sarai, his wife, took his Egyptian slave, Agar, and gave her as a woman to her husband, Abram. 4Abram joined Agar and she conceived. Realizing herself pregnant, she began to look scorningly at her mistress. 5Sarai said to Abram, "you are responsible for the injury I am suffering. I was the one who put my slave in your arms, and she, she just got pregnant, started to despise me. The Lord will be a judge between you and me. " 6Abram replied to Sarai: "Look, the slave is thine; Do as you like. " And Sarai mistreated her so much that she ran away. 7An Angel of the Lord, meeting her at the source of the desert, on the way to Sur, said to him: 8 "Agar, Sarai's slave, where do you come from and where are you going?" She replied, "I am running away from Sarai, my lady." 9And the angel of the Lord said to him, "go back to your mistress and be submissive to her." 10And He added: "I will multiply your offspring in such a way that one cannot count." 11And the Angel of the Lord Said, "Look, you are pregnant and you will give birth to a son and call him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard you in your affliction. 12He will be untamed as a wild donkey, his hand shall rise Against all, and the hand of all against him. And he will live apart from all his brothers. " 15Agar gave birth to Abram's son; And he put Ishmael's name to the son that Agar gave him. 16 Abram was 86 years old when Agar gave birth to Ishmael. – Word of the Lord.

Salmo 14/15

Psalm 14/15
Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good.
– Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good,/because Eternal is his mercy! /Who will count the great deeds of the Lord? /Who will sing all the praise he deserves?
– Happy those who keep their precepts/and practice justice at all times! /Remember, O Lord, from me, remember,/For the love you show to your people!
– Visit me with your salvation,/so that I can see the welfare of your people, and exult in the joy of the elect, and glorie me with those who are your inheritance.

Evangelho
Aleluia, aleluia, aleluia. Quem me ama realmente guardará minha palavra e meu Pai o amará, e a ele nós viremos (Jo 14,23).

Gospel
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah. Whoever loves me will truly keep my word and my father will love him, and we shall come to him (Jn 14.23). – Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 7,21-29 – At that time Jesus said to his disciples: 21 "Not all who say unto me, ' Lord, Lord ' shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but which puts into practice the will of my father who is in heaven. 22 on That Day, many will say unto me, ' Lord, Lord, was it not in thy name that we prophesied? Wasn't it in your name that we kicked demons out? And was it not in your name that we did many miracles? ' 23Then I will tell you publicly: I have never met you. Depart from me, ye who practice evil. 24Therefore, whoever hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a prudent man, who built his house upon the rock. 25The rain Fell, the floods came, the winds gave against the house, but the house did not fall, because it was built on the rock. 26On the other hand, whoever hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a man without judgment, who built his house upon the sand. 27The rain Fell, the floods came, the winds blew and they turned against the house, and the house fell, and its ruin was complete! " 28When Jesus Just said these words, the crowds were amazed by his teaching. 29 In fact, he taught them as who has authority and not as the masters of the law. – Word of salvation.
