Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Lucas 9,1-6 – Naquele tempo, 1Jesus convocou os doze, deu-lhes poder e autoridade sobre todos os demônios e para curar doenças 2e enviou-os a proclamar o Reino de Deus e a curar os enfermos. 3E disse-lhes: “Não leveis nada para o caminho: nem cajado, nem sacola, nem pão, nem dinheiro, nem mesmo duas túnicas. 4Em qualquer casa onde entrardes, ficai aí; e daí é que partireis de novo. 5Todos aqueles que não vos acolherem, ao sairdes daquela cidade, sacudi a poeira dos vossos pés como protesto contra eles”. 6Os discípulos partiram e percorriam os povoados, anunciando a Boa-nova e fazendo curas em todos os lugares. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 9,1-6 - At that time, 1Jesus summoned the twelve, gave them power and authority over all demons and to heal diseases 2and sent them to proclaim the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick. 3And he said to them, “Take nothing along the way: no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, not even two tunics. 4 In whatever house you enter, stay there; and then you will leave again. 5All those who do not welcome you, when you leave that city, shake the dust off your feet as a protest against them ”. 6The disciples left and toured the villages, announcing the Good News and doing healings everywhere. - Word of salvation.
Para refletir
Jesus não retém para si os conhecimentos que possui, nem seus poderes. Transmite-os aos doze apóstolos e os envia para realizarem o que ele fazia publicamente: anunciar o Reino de Deus e curar enfermidades. Uma atividade renovadora. Ensinamento novo e convincente com palavras divinas colhidas na fonte: “Falo estas coisas como o Pai me ensinou” (Jo 8,28). Energia poderosa, toques benfazejos. Curas libertadoras. Tempos messiânicos. Vida nova. Os apóstolos não precisam apoiar-se nos bens materiais; ao contrário, devem despojar-se deles. A gratuidade e a confiança na providência de Deus são as exigências para a missão. Haverá pessoas insensíveis ou avessas à passagem de Deus. Responderão por seus atos. O missionário cristão seguirá seu caminho, sem esmorecer. Como Jesus.
To think about
Jesus does not retain the knowledge he possesses, nor his powers. He transmits them to the twelve apostles and sends them to do what he did publicly: to announce the Kingdom of God and to heal illnesses. A renewing activity. New and convincing teaching with divine words from the source: “I speak these things as the Father taught me” (Jn 8,28). Powerful energy, beneficial touches. Liberating cures. Messianic times. New life. Apostles need not rely on material goods; on the contrary, they must strip themselves of them. Gratuitousness and trust in God's providence are the requirements for the mission. There will be people who are insensitive or averse to the passage of God. They will answer for their actions. The Christian missionary will go on his way, without giving up. Like Jesus.

250. A rápida transformação cultural e social toca também os jovens. Em algumas partes do mundo, os condicionamentos da sociedade consumista e meritocrática impelem muitos a atingir níveis de estudos de especialização para alcançar metas profissionais qualificadas. Por este motivo, muitos jovens sentem a exigência de se deslocar para viver experiências de trabalho e de estudo mais peculiares. Muitos outros, por sua vez, dada a falta de trabalho, caem num sentimento de insegurança, que facilmente desemboca em desilusão e tédio e, por vezes, vai até à angústia e à depressão. Já em países marcados por um duradouro subdesenvolvimento económico e por conflitos que causam grandes movimentos migratórios, os jovens sentem uma falta geral de esperança em relação ao seu futuro e veem-se obrigados a condições de vida muitas vezes humilhantes.

250. Rapid cultural and social transformation also affects young people. In some parts of the world, the conditioning of consumerist and meritocratic society impels many to reach levels of specialization studies to achieve qualified professional goals. For this reason, many young people feel the need to move to live more peculiar work and study experiences. Many others, in turn, given the lack of work, fall into a feeling of insecurity, which easily leads to disillusionment and boredom and sometimes even goes to anguish and depression. In countries marked by lasting economic underdevelopment and conflicts that cause major migratory movements, young people feel a general lack of hope about their future and are forced to live in conditions that are often humiliating.
