🇧🇷 Reflexão 14/03/2019 🇺🇸 Reflection 03/14/2019

Pedi e vos será dado!
Ask and it will be given to you!

Reflection
With the key of trust, we enter into the heart of God the Father. He knows the needs of each son and daughter and expects them to come forward and, full of hope, to manifest their requests. God, who knows us from within, knows that we are distracted, accommodated or evil. So accept that we be persistent, persevering, and expect to ask "good things" for ourselves and for others. As for getting what we ask, it depends on the will of God: if what we ask is in accordance with God's plan, he will give it all. Another aspect to take into account is whether we are in a position to receive divine grace. We need to rely on faith. St. Pio of Pietrelcina said, "God never denied me a request."

1a. Leitura
– Palavra do Senhor.

1st. Reading
Esther 4,17- In those days, when Queen Esther feared the approaching danger of death, she sought refuge in the Lord. 17pAnd it came to pass from the morning even unto evening, with his handmaids, and said, 17A God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, art thou blessed. Come to my rescue, for I am alone and have no other defender outside of you, Lord, after I myself have exposed myself to danger. 17a Lord, I have heard from the books of my ancestors that you have set free, Lord, to the end all those who are dear to you. 17But now, help me, I am alone, and have none but you, O my Lord. 17 Then come to the aid of my orphanhood. Put an attractive speech on my lips when I stand before the lion, and change your heart to hate the one who attacks us, so that he may perish with all his accomplices. 17He deliver us from the hand of our enemies. Transform our mourning into joy and our pains into well-being. " - Word of the Lord.

Evangelho

Procurai e achareis! Batei e a porta vos será aberta!

Gospel
Hail, O Christ, the image of the Father, / the full truth communicates to us!
Create in me a heart that is pure, / give me the joy of being saved again! (Sl 50, 12.14)
Proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 7,7-12 - At that time Jesus said to his disciples: 7 "Ask and it will be given to you! Seek and you will find! Knock and the door will open! 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. 9 Which of you gives his son a stone when he asks for bread? Or does he give you a snake when he asks for a fish? 11And if ye, who are evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more will your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? 12 Whatever you want others to do to you, do to them as well. This is the law and the prophets. " - Word of salvation.

Salmo 137/138

Psalm 137/138
On that day when I cried out, / you listened to me, O Lord!
O Lord, with my heart I thank you, / for you have heard the words of my lips! / I will sing before your angels / and bow down before your temple.
I thank your love, your truth, / because you have done much more than you have promised; / On that day when I cried, you heard me / and increased the vigor of my soul.
You will stretch out your arm to my aid, and you will save me with your right hand. / Complete in me the work begun; Lord, your goodness is forever! / I beg you: do not leave unfinished / this work that your hands have made!
