Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo João 10,1-10 – Naquele tempo, disse Jesus: 1“Em verdade, em verdade vos digo, quem não entra no redil das ovelhas pela porta, mas sobe por outro lugar, é ladrão e assaltante. 2Quem entra pela porta é o pastor das ovelhas. 3A esse o porteiro abre, e as ovelhas escutam a sua voz; ele chama as ovelhas pelo nome e as conduz para fora. 4E, depois de fazer sair todas as que são suas, caminha à sua frente, e as ovelhas o seguem, porque conhecem a sua voz. 5Mas não seguem um estranho, antes fogem dele, porque não conhecem a voz dos estranhos”. 6Jesus contou-lhes esta parábola, mas eles não entenderam o que ele queria dizer. 7Então Jesus continuou: “Em verdade, em verdade vos digo, eu sou a porta das ovelhas. 8Todos aqueles que vieram antes de mim são ladrões e assaltantes, mas as ovelhas não os escutaram. 9Eu sou a porta. Quem entrar por mim será salvo; entrará e sairá e encontrará pastagem. 10O ladrão só vem para roubar, matar e destruir. Eu vim para que tenham vida e a tenham em abundância”. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 10,1-10 - At that time Jesus said: 1 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold through the door, but goes up elsewhere, is a thief and a robber. . 2 Whoever comes in through the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To this the doorman opens, and the sheep hear his voice; he calls the sheep by name and leads them out. 4And, after letting all his belongings out, he walks ahead of him, and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. 5But they don't follow a stranger, they run away from him, because they don't know the voice of strangers ”. 6Jesus told them this parable, but they did not understand what he meant. 7Then Jesus continued: “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8All those who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9I am the door. Whoever enters through me will be saved; he will go in and out and find pasture. 10The thief only comes to steal, kill and destroy. I came so that they may have life and have it in abundance ”. - Word of salvation.
Para rezar
Jesus, porta das ovelhas, somos gratos a Ti, porque és nosso forte protetor e guia seguro. Não nos deixes seguir caminhos contrários aos Teus caminhos, nem correr atrás de vozes discordantes da Tua voz. Acolhe-nos, Senhor, entre os que desejam com ardor a Tua “vida em abundância”. Amém.
To Pray
Jesus, door of the sheep, we are grateful to You, for you are our strong protector and safe guide. Do not let us follow paths contrary to Your ways, nor run after discordant voices from Your voice. Welcome us, Lord, among those who earnestly desire Your “life in abundance”. Amen.
