Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo João 6,52-59 – Naquele tempo, 52os judeus discutiam entre si, dizendo: “Como é que ele pode dar a sua carne a comer?” 53Então Jesus disse: “Em verdade, em verdade vos digo, se não comerdes a carne do Filho do Homem e não beberdes o seu sangue, não tereis a vida em vós. 54Quem come a minha carne e bebe o meu sangue tem a vida eterna, e eu o ressuscitarei no último dia. 55Porque a minha carne é verdadeira comida e o meu sangue, verdadeira bebida. 56Quem come a minha carne e bebe o meu sangue permanece em mim e eu nele. 57Como o Pai, que vive, me enviou, e eu vivo por causa do Pai, assim o que me come viverá por causa de mim. 58Este é o pão que desceu do céu. Não é como aquele que os vossos pais comeram. Eles morreram. Aquele que come este pão viverá para sempre”. 59Assim falou Jesus, ensinando na sinagoga em Cafarnaum. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 6,52-59 - At that time, 52 Jews were arguing among themselves, saying: "How can he give his flesh to eat?" 53Then Jesus said: “Truly, truly, I say to you, if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will not have life in you. 54He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. 57As the Father, who lives, sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever eats me will live because of me. 58This is the bread that came down from heaven. Jesus, divino Mestre, na sinagoga de Cafarnaum, ensinavas a Teus compatriotas, dizendo: “Quem come a minha carne e bebe o meu sangue tem vida eterna, e eu o ressuscitarei no último dia”. Abre nossa mente, Senhor, para compreendermos o sentido de Tua mensagem. Amém.
