Como é que não sabeis interpretar o tempo presente?
How come you can't interpret the present time?

As pessoas deveriam reconhecer os sinais da chegada do Reino de Deus por meio das palavras e atos de Jesus. Ele denunciou todos os contravalores, colocando em seu lugar os valores da fraternidade e da partilha. Somente o projeto de Jesus pode libertar a todos da escravidão e da morte. É importante valorizar o momento presente, tempo de possível reconciliação com Deus e com o próximo. Quando chegar a hora do julgamento, será tarde demais.

People should recognize the signs of the arrival of the Kingdom of God through the words and acts of Jesus. He denounced all countervalues, placing in his place the values of fraternity and sharing. Only Jesus' project can free everyone from slavery and death. It is important to value the present moment, time of possible reconciliation with God and with others. When the time comes for the trial, it's too late.

Leitura da carta de são Paulo aos Romanos 7,18-25 - Irmãos, 18estou ciente que o bem não habita em mim, isto é, na minha carne. Pois eu tenho capacidade de querer o bem, mas não de realizá-lo. 19Com efeito, não faço o bem que quero, mas faço o mal que não quero. 20Ora, se faço aquilo que não quero, então já não sou eu que estou agindo, mas o pecado que habita em mim. 21Portanto, descubro em mim esta lei: quando quero fazer o bem, é o mal que se me apresenta. 22Como homem interior, ponho toda a minha satisfação na lei de Deus; 23mas sinto em meus membros outra lei, que luta contra a lei da minha razão e me aprisiona na lei do pecado, essa lei que está em meus membros. 24Infeliz que eu sou! Reading of St Paul's letter to the Romans 7,18-25 - Brethren, 18I am aware that good does not dwell in me, that is, in my flesh. Because I have the ability to want good, but not to accomplish it. 19 Indeed, I don't do the good I want, but I do the harm I don't want. 20Ora, if I do what I don't want, then I'm not the one who's acting anymore, but the sin that dwells in me. 21 Therefore, I find out in me this law: when I want to do good, it is the evil that presents me. 22 As an inner man, I put all my satisfaction in God's law; 23but I feel in my members another law, that it fights against the law of my reason and imprisons me in the law of sin, this law that is in my members. 24Unfortunate i am! Who will free me from this body of death? 25 Thanks to God, by Jesus Christ, our Lord. " Word of the Lord.

Ensinai-me a fazer vossa vontade.

Senão ele te levará ao juiz, o juiz te entregará ao guarda e o guarda te jogará na cadeia. 59Eu te digo, daí tu não sairás, enquanto não pagares o último centavo”. – Palavra da salvação.
