O reino de Deus está próximo de vós.

The Kingdom of God is near you.

Assim como os 12 apóstolos foram enviados em missão na Galiléia, Jesus agora envia os 72 discípulos a evangelizar a Judéia. Despojados de segurança e comodidades, vão à frente de Jesus para preparar a sua chegada. Este é o sentido de todo o apostolado da Igreja, pois é Jesus quem deve ocupar o centro da missão. Devem levar a paz também aos ambientes hostis (ovelhas entre lobos), mas não perder tempo com pessoas de má vontade (v.6). A tarefa deles é a mesma de Jesus: anunciar a Boa Notícia do Reino e curar os doentes. Vão sentir que é imenso o trabalho a realizar, por isso deverão pedir a Deus mais missionários para a grandiosa obra do Reino.

Just as the 12 apostles were sent on a mission in Galilee, Jesus now sends the 72 disciples to evangelize Judaea. Stripped of security and amenities, go ahead of Jesus to prepare your arrival. This is the meaning of the entire apostolate of the church, for it is Jesus who must occupy the center of the mission. They must also bring peace to hostile environments (sheep among wolves), but not to waste time on people of ill will (v.6). Their task is the same as Jesus: to announce the good news of the Kingdom and to heal the sick. You will feel that the work is immense, so you must ask God for more missionaries for the great work of the kingdom.

Leitura do livro de Neemias 8,1-12 - Naqueles dias, 1todo o povo se reuniu como um só homem na praça que fica defronte da porta das Águas e pediu ao escriba Esdras que trouxesse o livro da lei de Moisés, que o Senhor havia prescrito a Israel. 2O sacerdote Esdras apresentou a lei diante da assembleia de homens, de mulheres e de todos os que eram capazes de compreender. Era o primeiro dia do sétimo mês. 3Assim, na praça que fica defronte da porta das Águas, Esdras fez a leitura do livro, desde o amanhecer até o meio-dia, na presença dos homens, das mulheres e de todos os que eram capazes de compreender. E todo o povo escutava com atenção a leitura do livro da lei. 4Esdras, o escriba, estava de pé sobre um estrado de madeira, erguido para esse fim. 5Estando num lugar mais alto, ele abriu o livro à vista de todo o povo. E, quando o abriu, todo o povo ficou de pé. 6Esdras bendisse o Senhor, o grande Deus, e todo o povo respondeu, levantando as mãos: “Amém! Amém!” Depois, inclinaram-se e prostraram-se diante do Senhor com o rosto em terra. 7Os levitas explicavam a lei ao povo, e cada um ficou em seu lugar. 8E leram clara e distintamente o livro da lei de Deus e explicaram seu sentido, de maneira que se pudesse compreender a leitura. 9O governador Neemias e Esdras, sacerdote e escriba, e os levitas que instruíam o povo disseram a todos: “Este é um dia consagrado ao Senhor, vosso Deus! Não fiqueis tristes nem choreis”, pois todo o povo chorava ao ouvir as palavras da lei. 10E Neemias disse-lhes: “Ide para vossas casas e comei carnes gordas, tomai bebidas doces e reparti com aqueles que nada prepararam, pois este dia é santo para o nosso Senhor. Não fiqueis tristes, porque a alegria do Senhor será a vossa força”. 11E os levitas acalmavam todo o povo, dizendo: “Ficai tranquilos; hoje é um dia santo. Não vos aflijais!” 12E todo o povo se retirou para comer e beber. Distribuíram também aos outros e expandiram-se em grande alegria, pois haviam entendido as palavras que lhes tinham sido explicadas. – Palavra do Senhor.

Reading of the Book of Nehemiah 8,1-12-in those days, 1all the people met as one man in the square facing the gate of the waters and asked the scribe Ezra to bring the Book of the Law of Moses, which the Lord had prescribed to Israel. 2Nd Priest Ezra presented the law before the Assembly of men, women and all who were able to understand. It was the first day of the seventh month. 3Thus, in the square facing the door of the waters, Ezra read the book from Dawn until noon, in the presence of men, women and all who were able to comprehend. And all the people listened carefully to the reading of the Book of the law. 4Esdras, the scribe, was standing on a wooden footstool, erected for that purpose. 5Being in a higher place, he opened the book in the sight of all the people. And when he opened it, all the people stood up. 6Esdras blessed the Lord, the Great God, and all the people replied, raising their hands: "Amen! Amen to that. Then they bent down and prostrated themselves before the Lord with their face on the ground. 7The Levites explained the law to the people, and each stood in his place. 8And they read clearly and distinctly the Book of God's Law and explained their meaning, so that they could understand the reading. 9Th governor Nehemiah and Ezra, priest and Scribe, and the Levites who instructed the people said to all: "This is a day devoted to the Lord, your God! Do not be sad or weep, "for all the people cried to hear the words of the law. 10And Nehemiah said unto them, "go to your homes and eat fat meats, take sweet drinks and share with those who have prepared nothing, for this day is holy for our Lord. Do not be sad, for the joy of the Lord will be your strength. " 11And the Levites calmer all the people, saying, "Stay calm; Today is a holy day. Don't fret! Os ensinos do Senhor são sempre retos, / alegria ao coração. 
– A lei do Senhor Deus é perfeita, / conforto para a alma! / O testemunho do Senhor é fiel, / sabedoria dos humildes. 
– Os preceitos do Senhor são precisos, / alegria ao coração. / O mandamento do Senhor é brilhante, / para os olhos é uma luz. 
– É puro o temor do Senhor, / imutável para sempre. / Os julgamentos do Senhor são corretos / e justos igualmente.

Não passeis de casa em casa. 8Quando entrardes numa cidade e fordes bem recebidos, comei do que vos servirem, 9curai os doentes que nela houver e dizei ao povo: ‘O reino de Deus está próximo de vós’. 10Mas, quando entrardes numa cidade e não fordes bem recebidos, saindo pelas ruas, dizei: 11‘Até a poeira de vossa cidade, que se apegou aos nossos pés, sacudimos contra vós. No entanto, sabei que o reino de Deus está próximo’. 12Eu vos digo que, naquele dia, Sodoma será tratada com menos rigor do que essa cidade”. – Palavra da salvação.

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah. I have converted you and believe in the Gospel, for the Kingdom of God is coming! (Mk 1,15) – Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 10,1-12 – At that time, the 1st Lord chose another 72 disciples and sent them two by two, in front of him, to every city and place where he himself should go. 2E said to them: "The harvest is great, but the workers are few.
