 The kingdom of the heavens is like a net cast into the sea.

Evangelho - Mateus 13,47-53

Proclamação do evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Mateus – Naquele tempo, disse Jesus à multidão: ⁴⁷“O reino dos céus é ainda como uma rede lançada ao mar e que apanha peixes de todo tipo. ⁴⁸Quando está cheia, os pescadores puxam a rede para a praia, sentam-se e recolhem os peixes bons em cestos e jogam fora os que não prestam. ⁴⁹Assim acontecerá no fim dos tempos: os anjos virão para separar os homens maus dos que são justos ⁵⁰e lançarão os maus na fornalha de fogo. E aí haverá choro e ranger de dentes. ⁵¹Compreendestes tudo isso?” Eles responderam: “Sim”. ⁵²Então Jesus acrescentou: “Assim, pois, todo mestre da lei que se torna discípulo do reino dos céus é como um pai de família que tira do seu tesouro coisas novas e velhas”. ⁵³Quando Jesus terminou de contar essas parábolas, partiu dali. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew - At that time Jesus said to the crowd: 47 "The kingdom of the heavens is like a net cast into the sea and catching fish of every kind. 48 When it is full, the fishermen pull the hammock to the beach, sit down and collect the good fish in baskets and throw away those that do not. 49 So it will be at the end of time: the angels will come to separate the wicked from the righteous, and they will cast the wicked into the furnace of fire. And there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 51 Did you understand all this? "They answered," Yes. " 52Then Jesus added, "So then every teacher of the law who becomes a disciple of the kingdom of the heavens is like a householder who takes from his treasure new and old things." Refletindo o Evangelho

O Reino dos Céus está aberto a todos. Entretanto, tem suas exigências. Em seus ensinamentos, Jesus deixa claro que a busca do Reino supõe a prática da justiça e do amor, o desapego dos bens materiais, o exercício da fraternidade e as relações de perdão e de paz. Os contravalores abarcam a injustiça e seus derivados: egoísmo, opressão, enriquecimento ilícito, atentado à vida; enfim, tudo o que prejudica o próximo. Cada pessoa toma consciência do bem e do mal e livremente faz sua escolha; com isso escolhe também o fim que a espera. O bem será recompensado por Deus, e o mal, condenado. Todo dia é tempo para pegar a estrada do bem. Especialista em Reino de Deus, o Mestre pede a seus discípulos e à Igreja para valorizarem a Palavra de Deus (Antiga e Nova Aliança).

Reflecting the Gospel

The Kingdom of Heaven is open to all. However, it has its requirements.
