Deus veio visitar o seu povo.
God came to visit your people.

– Palavra do Senhor.

1st Reading - Timothy 3,1-13
Reading the first letter of St. Paul to Timothy – expensive, 1 this is a real word: whoever aspires to the episcopate know you're craving a sublime function. 2 Because the Bishop must be blameless, the husband of one wife, sober, prudent, modest, hospitable, able to teach. 3 should not be given to drinks or violent, but condescending, Pacific, disinterested. 4 must-know rule well your home, raise children in obedience and chastity. 5 for who don't know rule his own House, how will rule the Church of God? 6 can not be a recent convert, not to be overshadowed by vanity, will fall into the same condemnation that the demon. 7i mporta also having a good consideration from the outside, so as not to expose to infamy and fall into the traps of the devil. 8 likewise, deacons must be people, men of Word, not inclined to drink or the shameful profit. 9 Have the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 before receiving the post, are examined; If found worthy, can exercise the Ministry. 11 women should Also be honored, no libel, but sober and faithful in everything. 12 deacons be husbands of one wife and know well their children drive, and your own home. 13 for those who carry out well the Ministry receives a position of esteem and much freedom to speak of faith in Christ Jesus. -The word of the Lord.

Evangelho - Lucas 7,11-17

Gospel - Luke 7,11-17
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke - 11 at that time Jesus went to a town called Nain. With him went his disciples and a great crowd. 12 when he arrived at the door of the city, behold, they took a corpse, an only child; and your mother was a widow. Great crowd of the city followed. 13 To see her, you felt compassion for her and told her: "don't cry!" 14 approached, touched the coffin, and those who carried stopped. Then Jesus said: "young man, I command you, get up!" 15 what was dead sat up and began to speak. And Jesus gave it to your mother. 16 everyone was very afraid and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has appeared among us, and God came to visit your people". 17 and the news the fact that spread to Judea and throughout the surrounding areas. -The word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
Jesus, his disciples and a great multitude are faced with a case of extreme desolation: a lady, having lost her husband and only son also loses to bury. Therefore, Jesus is filled with compassion and without the widow asks, anticipates interrupting him. Holds the funeral procession and gives the dead the order to get up. The powerful word of Jesus restores life to the young, give him also the word ("the dead man sat down and started talking about"), and triggers the recognition of wizards: "they glorified God, saying," A great prophet has appeared among us. God visited your people ' ". Is the same expression that we find in the Canticle of Zechariah (cf. Lk 1, 68.69). God, through Jesus, visit the people, giving you freedom and life.

Rezando
Salmo 100/101.

Praying

I'm going to shut up before me/who is fake and the hidden, defames your neighbor; /my heart proud, arrogant look/listen and don't even want to see the faithful of this land I come back my eyes; /they're right next to me! /He who lives by doing good/will be my Minister, be my friend.
