da carta de são Paulo aos Colossenses – Irmãos, 24 alegro-me de tudo o
que já sofri por vós e procuro completar na minha própria carne o que
falta das tribulações de Cristo, em solidariedade com o seu corpo, isto
é, a Igreja. 25 A ela eu sirvo, exercendo o cargo que Deus me confiou de
vos transmitir a palavra de Deus em sua plenitude: 26 o mistério
escondido por séculos e gerações, mas agora revelado aos seus santos.
27 estes Deus quis manifestar como é rico e glorioso entre as nações
este mistério: a presença de Cristo em vós, a esperança da glória. 28

homem cuja mão direita era seca. 7 Os mestres da lei e os fariseus o
observavam, para verem se Jesus iria curá-lo em dia de sábado e assim
encontrarem motivo para acusá-lo. 8 Jesus, porém, conhecendo seus
pensamentos, disse ao homem da mão seca: “Levanta-te e fica aqui no
meio”. Ele se levantou e ficou de pé. 9 Disse-lhes Jesus: “Eu vos
pergunto, o que é permitido fazer no sábado: o bem ou o mal, salvar uma
vida ou deixar que se perca?” 10 Então Jesus olhou para todos os que

Refletindo o Evangelho Volta a questão da observância do sábado. Desta vez, na sinagoga,
enquanto Jesus ensina. Doutores da Lei e fariseus o observam “para terem
motivo de acusá-lo”. O benefício redunda em favor de um homem com a mão
paralisada. Antes de curá-lo, Jesus deixa mudos os adversários,
dirigindo-lhes a pergunta: No sábado, deve-se ou não se deve fazer o
bem, salvar uma vida ou destruí-la? Com certeza, o povo simples, a quem o
Pai revela seus segredos (cf. Lc 10,21) sabia responder: tudo o que é
bom glorifica a Deus. Mas os doutores da Lei e fariseus “se encheram de
raiva”. Buscam, na verdade, motivos para eliminar Jesus. Ao curar esse
enfermo, Jesus reafirma sua posição tomada anteriormente: a salvação de
uma vida diminuída está acima das disposições negativas da lei do
sábado.
