O Pai está em mim e eu no Pai - Jo 10, 31-42

Naquele tempo, 31 os judeus pegaram pedras para apedrejar Jesus. 32 E ele lhes disse: “Por ordem do Pai, mostrei-vos muitas obras boas. Por qual delas me quereis apedrejar?” 33 Os judeus responderam: “Não queremos te apedrejar por causa das obras boas, mas por causa de blasfêmia, porque sendo apenas um homem, tu te fazes Deus!” 34 Jesus disse: “Acaso não está escrito na vossa Lei: ‘Eu disse: vós sois deuses’? 35 Ora, ninguém pode anular a Escritura: se a Lei chama deuses as pessoas às quais se dirigiu a palavra de Deus, 36 por que então me acusais de blasfêmia, quando eu digo que sou Filho de Deus, eu a quem o Pai consagrou e enviou ao mundo? 37 Se não faço as obras do meu Pai, não acrediteis em mim. 38 Mas, se eu as faço, mesmo que não queirais acreditar em mim, acreditai nas minhas obras, para que saibais e reconheçais que o Pai está em mim e eu no Pai”. 39 Outra vez procuravam prender Jesus, mas ele escapou das mãos deles. 40 Jesus passou para o outro lado do Jordão, e foi para o lugar onde, antes, João tinha batizado. E permaneceu ali. 41 Muitos foram ter com ele, e diziam: “João não realizou nenhum sinal, mas tudo o que ele disse a respeito deste homem, é verdade”. 42 E muitos, ali, acreditaram nele.

Biblical Text 
At that time, 31 the Jews picked up stones to stone Jesus. 32 and he said unto them, "by order of Father, I showed you many good works. For which one you want me to stop? " 33 the Jews answered: "we don't want to stoning because of good works, but because of blasphemy, because just being a man, you do God." 34 Jesus said: "is it not written in your law, ' I said, you are gods '? 35 Now, no one can undo the deed: If the law calls gods people to whom addressed the word of God, then why you accuse me 36 of blasphemy, when I say that I am the son of God, I whom the father consecrated and sent into the world? 37 If I do not the works of my father, believe in me. 38 but if I do, even if you do not want to believe in me, believe in my works, that ye may know and reconheçais that the Father is in me and I in the Father ". 39 again sought to arrest Jesus, but he slipped out of their hands. 40 Jesus went to the other side of the Jordan, and went to the place where, before, John had baptized. And stayed there. 41 Many came to him and said: "John performed no sign, but everything he said about this man, it is true". 42 and many believed on him there.

Refletindo

Quando não entendemos quem é o Senhor, devemos, pelo menos, tentar entendê-Lo. Os judeus não tentaram compreender; pelo contrário, fecharam-se contra a verdade que Jesus estava trazendo, e o meio foi realmente rejeitá-Lo de qualquer forma. Por isso, acusaram-No de blasfêmia. Eles precisavam de motivos para acusar e levar Jesus à morte, mas condenar alguém que faz somente o bem para os outros, não pode ser este o motivo.Todas as obras que Jesus faz trazem Deus para o meio do Seu povo, e o próprio povo está convicto da presença do Senhor. Então, isso não pode ser motivo, uma vez que não conseguem se opor à obra de Jesus. Agora, eles inventam ou querem achar outro motivo, e o motivo é, justamente, a blasfêmia. Irmãos, ao nos aproximarmos, cada vez mais, do mistério da Paixão e Morte de Jesus Cristo, vamos entender que, há no coração humano, uma rejeição àquilo que é a obra de Deus. Aquilo que o grupo de judeus fez é, na verdade, opor-se, de forma muito direta, à obra e ação de Deus. Não só se opuseram, mas foram desleais e desonestos. Não conhecendo a verdade, disseram o que não era verdade. O que não é verdade é mentira, e nós sabemos o que a mentira faz no meio de nós. Podemos não gostar de muitas coisas, podemos não concordar com muitas coisas no mundo, mas nunca usemos de artimanha, falsidade, mentira e acusação vã para nos opormos, seja ao que for. Não precisamos disso! Quando não concordo com alguma coisa, eu me silencio. E o que tenho a dizer eu digo, mas preciso saber se é, de fato, verdade. Não posso ficar inventando fatos, não posso ficar inventando situações simplesmente para corroborar com a minha verdade. A melhor ou menor verdade perde a razão de ser quando mistura em si a mentira, a falsa acusação ou elementos que não são reais. Se conhecemos Jesus e O temos como a verdade da nossa vida, não permitamos, de forma nenhuma, qualquer mentira entre aquilo que fazemos e dizemos.

What's not true is a lie, and we know what lies do among us. We may not like a lot of things, we may not agree with many things in the world, but never use of trickery, falsehood, deceit and charges go to oppose, is to what is. We don't need that! When you don't agree with something, I silence. And I have to say I say, but I need to know if it's actually true. I can't be making up facts, inventing situations just to corroborate my truth. The best or lowest true loses the raison d ' être when mixture itself lies, false accusation or elements that are not real. If we know Jesus and the way of the truth of our life, let us not, in any way, any lie between what we do and say.
