Eu sou do alto - Jo 8, 21-30

Naquele tempo disse Jesus aos fariseus: 21 “Eu parto, e vós me procurareis, mas morrereis no vosso pecado. Para onde eu vou, vós não podeis ir”. 22 Os judeus comentavam: “Por acaso, vai-se matar? Pois ele diz: ‘Para onde eu vou, vós não podeis ir’?” 23 Jesus continuou: “Vós sois daqui debaixo, eu sou do alto. Vós sois deste mundo, eu não sou deste mundo. 24 Disse-vos que morrereis nos vossos pecados, porque, se não acreditais que eu sou, morrereis nos vossos pecados”. 25 Perguntaram-lhe pois: “Quem és tu, então?” Jesus respondeu: “O que vos digo, desde o começo. 26 Tenho muitas coisas a dizer a vosso respeito, e a julgar, também. Mas aquele que me enviou é fidedigno, e o que ouvi da parte dele é o que falo para o mundo”.27 Eles não compreenderam que lhes estava falando do Pai. 28 Por isso, Jesus continuou: “Quando tiverdes elevado o Filho do Homem, então sabereis que eu sou, e que nada faço por mim mesmo, mas apenas falo aquilo que o Pai me ensinou. 29 Aquele que me enviou está comigo. Ele não me deixou sozinho, porque sempre faço o que é de seu agrado”. 30 Enquanto Jesus assim falava, muitos acreditaram nele.

At that time Jesus said to the Pharisees: 21 "I leave, and you procurareis me, but you will die in your SIN. Where I go, you can't go ". 22 the Jews said: "by the way, is going to kill himself? For he says, ' where I am going, you cannot come '? " 23 Jesus continued: "you are from down there, I am from above. Ye are of this world, I am not of this world. 24 told you that you will die in your sins, because if you do you not believe that I am, you will die in your sins. " 25 they asked him: "who are you, then?" Jesus replied: "what I say unto you from the beginning. 26 I have many things to say about you, and judge, too. But he who sent me is reliable and what I hear of him is what I speak for the world. "they don't understand that 27 was talking about the Father. 28 so Jesus continued: "when you have elevated the son of man, then you will know who I am, and that anything I do for myself, but only speak what the father taught me. 29 he who sent me is with me. He didn't leave me alone, because I always do what is of your liking. 30 While Jesus thus spake, many believed on him.

Refletindo
Quando um coração se torna obstinado e fechado, quando ele se fecha em si mesmo, acaba morrendo naquela verdade que ele colocou para si. No entanto, nenhum de nós é dono dela, apenas Jesus é a única verdade. Ele mesmo disse: “Eu sou o caminho, a verdade e a vida!”. Ainda que alguns queiram, em nome d’Ele, dizer que têm a verdade, estes não têm nem são a verdade. A única verdade que nos salva é Jesus, e para permanecermos n’Ele precisamos deixar que Ele fale, molde e abra nosso coração! Não basta sermos religiosos, não basta orarmos, conhecermos os mandamentos, frequentarmos a igreja nem fazermos jejuns e tantos sacrifícios. Os fariseus faziam isso com muita maestria! Mas o coração deles era obstinado, fechado, não se abriam para a novidade de Deus. “Novidade” não quer dizer que Deus está mudando sempre as coisas, mas sim que o novo de Deus, o Espírito d’Ele, é criativo, sopra e ninguém sabe onde vai parar. A novidade de Deus é aquela que vai nos moldando, modelando-nos. Muitas vezes, somos como uma criança na escola, aprendemos a ler e escrever, aprendendo isso e aquilo, e já achamos que sabemos tudo! Todo conhecimento é limitado, por isso tudo o que sabemos de Deus, até hoje, nada é de mentira, é tudo mais profundo do que possamos imaginar. Não fiquemos parados, não fiquemos estagnados pela verdade. Pelo contrário, que Deus quebre aqueles bloqueios interiores que há em nós, que não nos permitem aprofundar na fé, que não nos permitem conhecer a verdade do outro, que não nos permitem nos abrirmos para a novidade de Deus. Não fechemos o nosso coração, não fiquemos na dureza do nosso coração para não morrermos na ignorância do pecado e da obstinação. É isso que Jesus está dizendo aos fariseus, e não queremos que essa verdade seja para nós. Que Jesus chegue e amoleça, quebre a dureza do nosso coração. Que Ele, manso e humilde, vá infiltrando em nós a Sua graça, para nos purificar, porque a única verdade é Jesus, e nós precisamos permanecer nela, precisamos permanecer no Senhor!

Reflecting

When a heart becomes stubborn and closed, when it closes itself winds up dying in that fact that he set for himself. However, none of us owns it, only Jesus is the only truth. He said: "I am the way, the truth and the life!". Even if some of us want to, in his name, say they have the truth, these have neither are the truth. The only truth that saves us is Jesus, and to remain in him we need to let Him speak, and open our hearts! It is not enough to be religious, don't just pray, we know the commandments, attend the church nor do fasts and many sacrifices. The Pharisees did that with a lot of mastery! But their heart was stubborn, closed, not open to the novelty of God. "New" does not mean that God is always changing things, but rather that the new God, the spirit, is creative, blows and nobody knows where it will stop. The newness of God is that which will in shaping, shaping us. Often, we're like a kid in school, learn to read and write, learning this and that, and already we think we know everything! All knowledge is limited, so all we know of God, until today, nothing is fake, everything is deeper than anything we can imagine. Let's not get stopped, don't stay stagnant for the truth. On the contrary, that God break those Interior locks in us, who do not allow us to deepen the faith, which does not allow us to know the truth of the other, which does not allow us to open us to the newness of God. Don't close your heart, don't stay in the hardness of our hearts not to die in ignorance of sin and stubbornness. That's what Jesus is telling the Pharisees, and we don't want this truth is for us. Jesus come and soften, break the hardness of our hearts. He, meek and lowly, go in us his grace infiltrating, to purify us, because the only truth is Jesus, and we need to stay on it, we must abide in the Lord!

Senhor Deus, quebre aqueles bloqueios interiores que há em mim, que não me permite aprofundar na fé, que não me permite conhecer a verdade do outro, que não permite abrir-me para a novidade de Deus.
