Luz para o mundo. 

Light to the world.

Jesus explica ao discípulos a parábola do semeador e a seguir sobre a luz. Não devem guardar para si o tesouro precioso dos ensinamentos do Mestre; ao contrário, devem ser luz para o mundo. A Palavra de Deus, de fato, tem cunho universal e não pode ficar oculta ou abafada: “A Palavra de Deus não está algemada” (2Tm 2,9). Em outra passagem, Jesus disse: “O que vocês disserem no quarto, ao pé do ouvido, será proclamado sobre os telhados”. A nós, que também somos seus discípulos, Jesus recomenda abertura de coração para acolhermos sua mensagem em medida generosa. Quanto mais a pessoa se abre para Deus sem cálculos, tanto mais Deus se lhe manifesta. Se a pessoa é mesquinha e se retrai, mesmo assim Deus não se retira nem deixa de se comunicar.

Jesus explains to the disciples the parable of the Somator and they were enlightened. They must not keep the precious treasure of the master's teachings for themselves; On the contrary, they must be light to the world. The Word of God, in fact, has a universal nature and cannot be concealed or muffled: "The word of God is not shackled" (2 ™ 2,9). In another passage, Jesus said: "What you say in the room, at the foot of the ear, will be proclaimed on the rooftops." To us, who are also his disciples, Jesus recommends opening the heart to welcome his message to a generous measure. The more the person opens up to God without calculations, the more God manifests himself. If the person is stingy and retracs, yet God does not withdraw or cease to communicate.

Início do livro de Esdras 1,1-6 – 1No primeiro ano do reinado de Ciro, rei da Pérsia, para que se cumprisse a palavra do Senhor pronunciada pela boca de Jeremias, o Senhor moveu o espírito de Ciro, rei da Pérsia, que mandou publicar em todo o seu reino, de viva voz e por escrito, a seguinte proclamação: 2“Assim fala Ciro, rei da Pérsia: O Senhor, Deus do céu, me deu todos os reinos da terra e me encarregou de lhe construir um templo em Jerusalém, na terra de Judá. 3Quem, dentre vós todos, pertence ao seu povo? Que o Senhor, seu Deus, esteja com ele, e que se ponha a caminho e suba a Jerusalém, e construa o templo do Senhor, Deus de Israel, o Deus que está em Jerusalém. 4E a todos os sobreviventes, onde quer que residam, as pessoas do lugar proporcionem prata, ouro, bens e animais, além de donativos espontâneos para o templo de Deus, que está em Jerusalém”. 5Então se levantaram os chefes de família de Judá e de Benjamim, os sacerdotes e os levitas, todos aqueles que se sentiram inspirados por Deus para ir edificar o templo do Senhor, que está em Jerusalém. 6E todos os seus vizinhos lhes trouxeram toda espécie de ajuda em prata, ouro, bens, animais e objetos preciosos, sem falar em todas as doações espontâneas. – Palavra do Senhor.
