Leitura do livro do Gênesis 1,1-19 – 1No princípio Deus criou o céu e a terra. 2A terra estava deserta e vazia, as trevas cobriam a face do abismo e o Espírito de Deus pairava sobre as águas. 3Deus disse: “Faça-se a luz!” E a luz se fez. 4Deus viu que a luz era boa e separou a luz das trevas. 5E à luz Deus chamou “dia”, e às trevas, “noite”. Houve uma tarde e uma manhã: primeiro dia. 6Deus disse: “Faça-se um firmamento entre as águas, separando umas das outras”. 7E Deus fez o firmamento e separou as águas que estavam embaixo das que estavam em cima do firmamento. E assim se fez. 8Ao firmamento Deus chamou “céu”. Houve uma tarde e uma manhã: segundo dia. 9Deus disse: “Juntem-se as águas que estão debaixo do céu num só lugar e apareça o solo enxuto!” E assim se fez. 10Ao solo enxuto Deus chamou “terra”, e ao ajuntamento das águas, “mar”. E Deus viu que era bom. 11Deus disse: “A terra faça brotar vegetação e plantas que deem semente, e árvores frutíferas que deem fruto segundo a sua espécie, que tenham nele sua semente sobre a terra”. E assim se fez. 12E a terra produziu vegetação e plantas que trazem semente segundo a sua espécie, e árvores que dão fruto tendo nele a semente da sua espécie. E Deus viu que era bom. 13Houve uma tarde e uma manhã: terceiro dia. 14Deus disse: “Façam-se luzeiros no firmamento do céu, para separar o dia da noite. Que sirvam de sinais para marcar as épocas, os dias e os anos 15e que resplandeçam no firmamento do céu e iluminem a terra”. E assim se fez. 16Deus fez os dois grandes luzeiros: o luzeiro maior para presidir ao dia e o luzeiro menor para presidir à noite, e as estrelas. 17Deus colocou-os no firmamento do céu para alumiar a terra, 18para presidir ao dia e à noite e separar a luz das trevas. E Deus viu que era bom. 19E houve uma tarde e uma manhã: quarto dia. – Palavra do Senhor.

And God saw that it was good. 13And there was evening and there was morning, the third day. 14 God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the sky, to separate the day from the night. Let them serve as signs to mark the times, the days, and the years, and that they may shine in the firmament of the sky and shine on the earth. " And so it was done. 16 God made the two great lights: the greater light to preside over the day, and the lesser light to preside at night, and the stars. 17 And he set them in the firmament of the sky to give light to the earth, 18 to preside over the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19And there was evening, and there was morning, the fourth day. - Word of the Lord.

Jesus pregava a boa-nova, o reino anunciando, / e curava toda espécie de doenças entre o povo (Mt 4,23).

Proclamação do evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos 6,53-56 – Naquele tempo, 53tendo Jesus e seus discípulos acabado de atravessar o mar da Galileia, chegaram a Genesaré e amarraram a barca. 54Logo que desceram da barca, as pessoas imediatamente reconheceram Jesus. 55Percorrendo toda aquela região, levavam os doentes deitados em suas camas para o lugar onde ouviam falar que Jesus estava. 56E, nos povoados, cidades e campos aonde chegavam, colocavam os doentes nas praças e pediam-lhe para tocar, ao menos, a barra de sua veste. E todos quantos o tocavam ficavam curados. – Palavra da salvação.

Jesus preached the good news, the kingdom proclaiming, and healed all sorts of diseases among the people (Mt 4:23).
Proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 6: 53-56 - At that time, when Jesus and his disciples had just crossed the Sea of Galilee, they came to Gennesaret and tied up the boat. As soon as they got out of the boat, people immediately recognized Jesus. 55Without the whole region, they carried the sick in their beds to the place where they heard that Jesus was. 56And in the villages, cities, and fields where they came, they placed the sick in the squares and asked him to touch at least the hem of his garment. And all who touched him were healed. - Word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho 

As multidões se aglomeram ao redor de Jesus, pois onde impera a doença ele faz brotar a vida. Os doentes não eram benquistos na comunidade judaica; aliás, muitos deles eram forçados a viver afastados do convívio humano, como era o caso dos leprosos. Jesus não divide os doentes em categorias; ao contrário, acode a todos. Ele era a única esperança desses marginalizados. Familiares e amigos dos enfermos se unem para carregá-los em macas e colocá-los aos pés de Jesus. Não exigem muita coisa, apenas pedem licença para tocar no seu manto, certos de que ficarão curados, pois sabem que seu contato comunica vida. Com efeito, todos os que nele tocavam “eram salvos”. Recebiam não só a cura física, mas a saúde completa, pois podiam reintegrar-se à sociedade e levar vida digna.

Reflecting the Gospel 

The crowds crowd around Jesus, for where disease prevails he causes life to spring forth. The sick were not benquist in the Jewish community; in fact, many of them were forced to live apart from human conviviality, as was the case with lepers. Jesus does not divide the sick into categories; on the contrary, it rules everyone. He was the only hope of those marginalized. Relatives and friends of the sick unite to carry them on stretchers and place them at the feet of Jesus. They do not require much, they only ask permission to touch his cloak, certain that they will be healed, because they know that their contact communicates life. In fact, all who touched him "were saved." They received not only physical healing, but complete health, for they could reintegrate into society and lead a dignified life.
