Evangelho do Dia 26/12/2016 Gospel of the day - 12/26/2016

Who endure unto the end, that will be saved - Mt 10, 17-22

Biblical Text
At that time, Jesus said to his Apostles: "Beware of the 17men, because they will serve the courts and handed over to you in their synagogues. 18You shall be brought before Governors and Kings for my sake, to bear witness before them and of Nations. 19When you deliver it, don't be concerned how to speak or what to say. Then in that moment you will be shown what you should say. 20Indeed, you're not what ye shall speak, but the spirit of your father will speak through you. 21Brother will deliver to death his own brother; the father will deliver the son; the children shall rise up against their parents, and the kill. 22You shall be hated by all because of my name. But who endure unto the end, that will be saved.

Refletindo

Reflecting
Maybe you can find it odd we celebrate Christmas and talk of death, after all, all we are forwarding to this new life that Christ brought us in a blaze of glory in heaven. Therefore, birth is also die, because death to sin is born to God every day. This is martyrdom which we must live, for this new life that Christ brought us really bud in us. And who doesn't die for sin cannot contemplate the fruits of the new life which Christ brought to us, with his birth.
