🇧🇷Ótimo dia: Evangelho 20Mar 🇺🇸Great day: Gospel Mar20

Este é, verdadeiramente, o profeta.
Joseph did as the angel of the Lord had commanded.

Evangelho do dia

Gospel of the day
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 7,40-53 - At that time, when hearing the words of Jesus, some people in the crowd said: "This is truly the prophet". 41 Others said, "He is the Messiah." But some objected: “Will the Messiah come from Galilee? 42Does not the Scripture say that the Messiah will be of David's descent and will come from Bethlehem, where David was from? ” 43So there was division among the people because of Jesus. 44Some wanted to arrest him, but no one got his hands on him. 45Then the temple guards returned to the high priests and the Pharisees, and they asked them, "Why did you not bring him?" 46The guards replied, "No one has ever spoken like this man." 47Then the Pharisees said to them, “Have you also been deceived? Did any of the chiefs or Pharisees believe him? 49But those people who don't know the Law are damned! ” 50Nicodemos, however, one of the Pharisees, the one who had met Jesus earlier, said: 51 “Does our Law judge someone before they hear him and know what he has done?” 52They replied, “Are you also a Galilean, perhaps? Go study and you will see that from Galilee there is no prophet ”. 53And each one returned to his home. - Word of salvation.

José fez conforme o anjo do Senhor havia mandado.
Joseph did as the angel of the Lord had commanded.

Evangelho do dia

🇧🇷Ótimo dia: Evangelho 18Mar 🇺🇸Great day: Gospel Mar18

If I testify of myself, my testimony is not worth it.

Evangelho do dia

Gospel of the day
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 5,31-47 - At that time, Jesus said to the Jews: 31 “If I testify of myself, my testimony is not valid. 32But there is another who bears witness to me, and I know that the witness he bears of me is true. 33You sent messengers to John, and he testified to the truth. 34I, however, do not depend on the testimony of a human being. But I speak thus for your salvation. 35John was a lamp that was on and shining, and you were glad for a time with its light. 36But I have a greater testimony than that of John: the works that the Father has given me to do. The works that I do bear witness to me, showing that the Father sent me. 37And also the Father who sent me testifies on my behalf. You have never heard his voice or seen his face, 38 and his word has found no home in you, for you do not believe in the one he sent. 39You search the Scriptures, thinking that in them you have eternal life. However, the Scriptures bear witness to me, 40 but you do not want to come to me to have eternal life! 41I do not receive the glory that comes from men. 42But I know that you do not have the love of God in you. 43I came in the name of my Father, and you do not receive me. But if another came in his own name, you would receive him. 44How can you believe, you who receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the one God? 45 Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father. There is someone who accuses you: Moses, in whom you place your hope. 46If you believed in Moses, you would also believe in me, for it was about me that he wrote. 47But if you don't believe his writings, how will you believe my words then? ” - Word of salvation.

🇧🇷Ótimo dia: Evangelho 17Mar 🇺🇸Great day: Gospel Mar17

Quem ouve a minha palavra e crê naquele que me enviou possui a vida eterna.
Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life.

Evangelho do dia

Gospel of the day
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 5,17-30 - At that time, 17Jesus replied to the Jews: "My Father always works, so I also work". 18Then the Jews sought to kill him even more, because, in addition to violating the Sabbath, he called God his Father, thus making himself equal with God. 19 Taking the word, Jesus said to the Jews: “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son cannot do anything for himself; he does only what he sees the Father doing. What the Father does, the Son does too. 20The Father loves the Son and shows him everything he does. And he will show you even greater works, so that you will be amazed. 21 Just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, the Son also gives life to whomever he wants. 22 In fact, the Father does not judge anyone, but he has given the Son the power to judge, 23 so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son also does not honor the Father, who sent him. 24Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He will not be condemned, as he has already passed from death to life. 25Truly, truly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and it has come, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. 26Because, just as the Father has life in himself, so he has given the Son to have life in himself. 27He also gave him the power to judge, for he is the Son of Man. 28 Do not be surprised at this, for the time will come when all who are in the tombs will hear the Son's voice and will come out: 29those who have done good will be raised to life; and those who have done evil, for condemnation. 30I can't do anything on my own. I judge according to what I hear, and my judgment is fair, because I do not try to do my will, but the will of the one who sent me ”. - Word of salvation.

To Pray
Jesus, you said: "The things that the Father does, the Son does in the same way". By saying that God is your Father, you make yourself equal to God. This revelation disturbs Your opponents. Grant us, Lord, the wisdom to accept this truth of faith in our lives. Amen.

Levanta-te, pega a tua cama e anda.
Get up, get your bed and walk.

Evangelho do dia

Gospel of the day
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 5,1-16 - 1There was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went to Jerusalem. 2 In Jerusalem, near the Sheep Gate, there is a pool with five porches, called Bethesda in Hebrew. 3Many sick lay there: blind, lame and paralyzed. 4Actually, an angel would come down from time to time and move the water in the pool, and the first patient to enter there, after the bubbling of the water, would be cured of any illness he had. 5There was a man who had been ill for thirty-eight years. 6Jesus saw the man lying down and, knowing that he had been sick for so long, said to him, "Do you want to be healed?" 7The patient replied: “Sir, I have no one to take me to the pool when the water is agitated. When I'm arriving, another one enters in front of me ”. 8Jesus said, "Get up, get your bed and walk." 9In the same instant, the man was healed, took up his bed and started walking. Now, that day was a Saturday. 10 Therefore, the Jews said to the man that he had been healed: “It is a Sabbath! You are not allowed to carry your bed ”. 11He replied, "The one who healed me said, 'Take your bed and walk.'" 12Then they asked him: "Who said to you, 'Take your bed and walk'?" 13The man who had been healed did not know who he was, for Jesus had turned away from the crowd in that place. 14 Later, Jesus found the man in the temple and said to him, “Behold, you are healed. Do not sin again, lest something worse happen to you ”. 15Then the man went out and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had healed him. 16 Therefore, the Jews began to persecute Jesus, because he did such things on the Sabbath day. - Word of salvation.

To Pray
Jesus, on a Sabbath day, you return to the paralyzed man the movements of his legs and the ability to walk. Immense joy and new life for the newly healed, and discomfort for the Pharisees, who soon unleash persecution against You. We want to remain with you forever, O our Savior. Amen.

Cura do filho do funcionário do rei.
Healing the son of the king's official.

Evangelho do dia

Gospel of the day
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 4,43-54 - At that time, 43Jesus left Samaria for Galilee. 44 Jesus himself had declared that a prophet is not honored in his own land. 45When he arrived in Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him, because they had seen everything that Jesus had done in Jerusalem during the feast. For they, too, had gone to the party. 46So Jesus returned to Cana in Galilee, where he had turned water into wine. In Capernaum there was an official of the king who had a sick son. 47He heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee. He went out to meet him and asked him to go to Capernaum to heal his dying son. 48Jesus said to him, "If you do not see signs and wonders, you do not believe." 49The king's official said, "Lord, come down, before my son dies!" 50Jesus said to him, "You can go, your son is alive." The man believed the word of Jesus and left. 51While going down to Capernaum, his servants came to meet him, saying that his son was alive. The employee asked what time the boy had improved. They replied: "The fever disappeared, yesterday, at one o'clock in the afternoon". 53The father found that it was at exactly the same time that Jesus had said to him, "Your son is alive." So he embraced the faith, along with his entire family. 54This was Jesus' second sign. He accomplished it when he returned from Judea to Galilee. - Word of salvation.

🇧🇷Ótimo dia: Evangelho 14Mar 🇺🇸Great day: Gospel Mar14

Whoever rises will be humbled and whoever humbles will be lifted.

Evangelho do dia

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 3,14-21 - At that time, Jesus said to Nicodemus: 14 “Just as Moses raised the serpent in the desert, so it is necessary for the Son of Man to be raised, 15 so that all who believe in him have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, so that not everyone who believes in him may die, but may have eternal life. 17 In fact, God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world would be saved by him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is already condemned, because he did not believe in the name of the only begotten Son. 19 Now the judgment is this: light came into the world, but men preferred darkness to light, because their actions were evil. 20 Whoever practices evil hates the light and does not approach the light, lest their actions be denounced. 21But whoever acts according to the truth approaches the light, so that their actions may be performed in God ”. - Word of salvation.

🇧🇷Ótimo dia: Evangelho 13Mar 🇺🇸Great day: Gospel Mar13

Quem se eleva será humilhado e quem se humilha será elevado.
Whoever rises will be humbled and whoever humbles will be lifted.

Evangelho do dia

Gospel of the day
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 18,9-14 - At that time, 9 Jesus told this parable to some who trusted in their own righteousness and despised others: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray: one was a Pharisee, the other tax collector. 11 The Pharisee, standing up, prayed like this in his heart: 'O God, I thank you because I am not like other men, thieves, dishonest, adulterers, nor like this tax collector. 12I fast twice a week and tithe all my income '. 13The tax collector, however, remained at a distance and did not even dare to look up at the sky; but he beat his chest, saying: ‘My God, have mercy on me, I am a sinner!’ 14I tell you, the latter returned home justified, the other did not. For whoever rises will be humbled and whoever humbles will be lifted ”. - Word of salvation.

To Pray
Through Your parable, O Jesus, we understand what true prayer is. To pray is not to boast before God, nor to show self-sufficiency, nor to despise others. Rather, praying is talking to God and recognizing that we need mercy on him. Lord, teach us to pray. Amen.

🇧🇷Ótimo dia: Evangelho 12Mar 🇺🇸Great day: Gospel Mar12

You will love your neighbor as yourself!

Evangelho do dia

Gospel of the day
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 11,14-23 - At that time, 14Jesus was casting out a demon who was mute. When the demon left, the mute began to speak, and the crowds were astonished. 15But some said, "It is for Beelzebub, the prince of demons, that he casts out demons." 16 Others, to try Jesus, asked him for a sign from heaven. 17But knowing his thoughts, Jesus said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself will be destroyed; and one house will fall on top of the other. 18 Now if even Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom survive? You say that it is for Beelzebub that I cast out demons. 19If it is through Beelzebub that I cast out demons, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore, they themselves will be your judges. 20But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come for you. 21When a strong, well-armed man guards his own home, his assets are secure. 22But when a man stronger than he comes, he overcomes him, tears off the armor he trusted and shares what he stole. 23 Whoever is not with me is against me. And whoever doesn't collect with me is dispersed ”. - Word of salvation.

To Pray
Jesus, You teach us that the first commandment is to love God above all things, and the second is to love your neighbor as yourself. In Your Kingdom, “no one has greater love than someone who gives his life for his friends”. Praise to you, Lord, because you gave your life for us. Amen.

🇧🇷Ótimo dia: Evangelho 11Mar 🇺🇸Great day: Gospel Mar11

Quem não está comigo está contra mim.
Whoever is not with me is against me.

Evangelho do dia

To Pray
Jesus, some people offend You, claiming that you cast out the demon by the power of Beelzebu. You show that you are in error, because it is “with the finger of God” that you expel the agent of evil. Grant us, O Master, the grace to remain with you, so as not to waste time, energy, life. Amen.
