Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos 8,14-21 – Naquele tempo, 14os discípulos tinham se esquecido de levar pães. Tinham consigo na barca apenas um pão. 15Então Jesus os advertiu: ”Prestai atenção e tomai cuidado com o fermento dos fariseus e com o fermento de Herodes”. 16Os discípulos diziam entre si: “É porque não temos pão”. 17Mas Jesus percebeu e perguntou-lhes: “Por que discutis sobre a falta de pão? Ainda não entendeis nem compreendeis? Vós tendes o coração endurecido? 18Tendo olhos, vós não vedes e, tendo ouvidos, não ouvis? Não vos lembrais 19de quando reparti cinco pães para cinco mil pessoas? Quantos cestos vós recolhestes cheios de pedaços?” Eles responderam: “Doze”. 20Jesus perguntou: “E quando reparti sete pães com quatro mil pessoas, quantos cestos vós recolhestes cheios de pedaços?” Eles responderam: “Sete”. 21Jesus disse: “E vós ainda não compreendeis?” – Palavra da salvação.

Ó Jesus, Teus discípulos ainda estão eufóricos com o grande sucesso da partilha dos pães. Mas não vieste para satisfazer gente curiosa, que se contenta com o espetáculo. Vieste para transformar cada pessoa por dentro segundo os planos do Pai. Amém.

To Pray

O Jesus, Your disciples are still euphoric with the great success of sharing bread. But you didn't come to meet curious people, who are content with the show. You have come to transform each person within according to the Father's plans. Amen.

Em verdade vos digo, a esta gente não será dado nenhum sinal”. 13E, deixando-os, Jesus entrou de novo na barca e se dirigiu para a outra margem. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos 1,40-45 – Naquele tempo, 40um leproso chegou perto de Jesus e, de joelhos, pediu: “Se queres, tens o poder de curar-me”. 41Jesus, cheio de compaixão, estendeu a mão, tocou nele e disse: “Eu quero: fica curado!” 42No mesmo instante, a lepra desapareceu e ele ficou curado. 43Então Jesus o mandou logo embora, 44falando com firmeza: “Não contes nada disso a ninguém! Vai, mostra-te ao sacerdote e oferece, pela tua purificação, o que Moisés ordenou, como prova para eles!” 45Ele foi e começou a contar e a divulgar muito o fato. Por isso Jesus não podia mais entrar publicamente numa cidade: ficava fora, em lugares desertos. E de toda parte vinham procurá-lo. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos 8,1-10 – 1Naqueles dias, havia de novo uma grande multidão e não tinha o que comer. Jesus chamou os discípulos e disse: 2“Tenho compaixão dessa multidão, porque já faz três dias que está comigo e não tem nada para comer. 3Se eu os mandar para casa sem comer, vão desmaiar pelo caminho, porque muitos deles vieram de longe”. 4Os discípulos disseram: “Como poderia alguém saciá-los de pão aqui no deserto?” 5Jesus perguntou-lhes: “Quantos pães tendes?” Eles responderam: “Sete”. 6Jesus mandou que a multidão se sentasse no chão. Depois, pegou os sete pães e deu graças, partiu-os e ia dando aos seus discípulos, para que os distribuíssem. E eles os distribuíam ao povo. 7Tinham também alguns peixinhos. Depois de pronunciar a bênção sobre eles, mandou que os distribuíssem também. 8Comeram e ficaram satisfeitos, e recolheram sete cestos com os pedaços que sobraram. 9Eram quatro mil, mais ou menos. E Jesus os despediu. 10Subindo logo na barca com seus discípulos, Jesus foi para a região de Dalmanuta. – Palavra da salvação.

Ó Jesus, diante da multidão faminta, Tua compaixão desencadeia uma solução imediata: abençoas e repartes os pães e os peixes que eles têm. E a maravilha acontece: todos ficam saciados e as sobras são recolhidas. Ensina-nos, Senhor, a repartir. Amém.

Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos 7,31-37 – Naquele tempo, 31Jesus saiu de novo da região de Tiro, passou por Sidônia e continuou até o mar da Galileia, atravessando a região da Decápole. 32Trouxeram então um homem surdo, que falava com dificuldade, e pediram que Jesus lhe impusesse a mão. 33Jesus afastou-se com o homem para fora da multidão; em seguida, colocou os dedos nos seus ouvidos, cuspiu e, com a saliva, tocou a língua dele. 34Olhando para o céu, suspirou e disse: “Efatá!”, que quer dizer “abre-te!” 35Imediatamente seus ouvidos se abriram, sua língua se soltou e ele começou a falar sem dificuldade. 36Jesus recomendou com insistência que não contassem a ninguém. Mas, quanto mais ele recomendava, mais eles divulgavam. 37Muito impressionados, diziam: “Ele tem feito bem todas as coisas: aos surdos faz ouvir e aos mudos falar”. – Palavra da salvação.

Ó Jesus Messias, que fazes bem todas as coisas, com solicitude e gestos adequados, abres os ouvidos e soltas a língua do homem surdo que falava com dificuldade. Abre também nossos ouvidos para ouvirmos atentamente Teus ensinamentos e, com nossa voz, difundi-los por toda parte. Amém.

Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos 7,24-30 – Naquele tempo, 24Jesus saiu e foi para a região de Tiro e Sidônia. Entrou numa casa e não queria que ninguém soubesse onde ele estava. Mas não conseguiu ficar escondido. 25Uma mulher, que tinha uma filha com um espírito impuro, ouviu falar de Jesus. Foi até ele e caiu a seus pés. 26A mulher era pagã, nascida na Fenícia da Síria. Ela suplicou a Jesus que expulsasse de sua filha o demônio. 27Jesus disse: “Deixa primeiro que os filhos fiquem saciados, porque não está certo tirar o pão dos filhos e jogá-lo aos cachorrinhos”. 28A mulher respondeu: “É verdade, Senhor; mas também os cachorrinhos, debaixo da mesa, comem as migalhas que as crianças deixam cair”. 29Então Jesus disse: “Por causa do que acabas de dizer, podes voltar para casa. O demônio já saiu de tua filha”. 30Ela voltou para casa e encontrou sua filha deitada na cama, pois o demônio já havia saído dela. – Palavra da salvação.

Ó Jesus, que a todos recebes sem discriminar, és procurado por uma mulher estrangeira, que implora a cura da filha dela. Parece que a tratas com dureza. Na verdade, queres ensinar aos apóstolos que fora do povo eleito também existe fé, e, por vezes, fé ainda mais elevada, digna do Teu elogio. Amém.

O Jesus, whom you receive without discrimination, you are wanted by a foreign woman, who implores the healing of her daughter. It seems that you treat her harshly. Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos 7,14-23 – Naquele tempo, 14Jesus chamou a multidão para perto de si e disse: “Escutai todos e compreendei: 15o que torna impuro o homem não é o que entra nele, vindo de fora, mas o que sai do seu interior. 16Quem tem ouvidos para ouvir, ouça”. 17Quando Jesus entrou em casa, longe da multidão, os discípulos lhe perguntaram sobre essa parábola. 18Jesus lhes disse: “Será que nem vós compreendeis? Não entendeis que nada do que vem de fora e entra numa pessoa pode torná-la impura, 19porque não entra em seu coração, mas em seu estômago e vai para a fossa?” Assim Jesus declarava que todos os alimentos eram puros. 20Ele disse: “O que sai do homem, isso é que o torna impuro. 21Pois é de dentro do coração humano que saem as más intenções, imoralidades, roubos, assassínios, 22adultérios, ambições desmedidas, maldades, fraudes, devassidão, inveja, calúnia, orgulho, falta de juízo. 23Todas essas coisas más saem de dentro, e são elas que tornam impuro o homem”. – Palavra da salvação.

Ó Jesus, Tu ensinas a respeito do que realmente torna a pessoa impura, aquilo que ela elabora no seu interior. Pensamentos e sentimentos maus, gerados em seu coração, se transformam em atitudes más. Cria em nós, Senhor, condições para só produzir o que Te agrada. Amém.

Este povo me honra com os lábios, mas seu coração está longe de mim.

Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos 7,1-13 – Naquele tempo, 1os fariseus e alguns mestres da Lei vieram de Jerusalém e se reuniram em torno de Jesus. 2Eles viam que alguns dos seus discípulos comiam o pão com as mãos impuras, isto é, sem as terem lavado. 3Com efeito, os fariseus e todos os judeus só comem depois de lavar bem as mãos, seguindo a tradição recebida dos antigos. 4Ao voltar da praça, eles não comem sem tomar banho. E seguem muitos outros costumes que receberam por tradição: a maneira certa de lavar copos, jarras e vasilhas de cobre. 5Os fariseus e os mestres da Lei perguntaram então a Jesus: “Por que os teus discípulos não seguem a tradição dos antigos, mas comem o pão sem lavar as mãos?” 6Jesus respondeu: “Bem profetizou Isaías a vosso respeito, hipócritas, como está escrito: ‘Este povo me honra com os lábios, mas seu coração está longe de mim. 7De nada adianta o culto que me prestam, pois as doutrinas que ensinam são preceitos humanos’. 8Vós abandonais o mandamento de Deus para seguir a tradição dos homens”. 9E dizia-lhes: “Vós sabeis muito bem como anular o mandamento de Deus a fim de guardar as vossas tradições. 10Com efeito, Moisés ordenou: ‘Honra teu pai e tua mãe’. E ainda: ‘Quem amaldiçoa o pai ou a mãe, deve morrer’. 11Mas vós ensinais que é lícito alguém dizer a seu pai e à sua mãe: ‘O sustento que vós poderíeis receber de mim é Corban, isto é, consagrado a Deus’. 12E essa pessoa fica dispensada de ajudar seu pai ou sua mãe. 13Assim vós esvaziais a Palavra de Deus com a tradição que vós transmitis. E vós fazeis muitas outras coisas como estas”. – Palavra da salvação.

Ó Jesus Mestre, fariseus e doutores da Lei acusam Teus discípulos de não seguir a tradição dos antepassados por comer com as mãos sujas. Citando Isaías, provas que eles, ao praticar a tradição antiga, desprezam o mandamento de Deus. Pior: invalidam a Palavra de Deus. Amarga repreensão. Amém.

Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos 6,53-56 – Naquele tempo, 53tendo Jesus e seus discípulos acabado de atravessar o mar da Galileia, chegaram a Genesaré e amarraram a barca. 54Logo que desceram da barca, as pessoas imediatamente reconheceram Jesus. 55Percorrendo toda aquela região, levavam os doentes deitados em suas camas para o lugar onde ouviam falar que Jesus estava. 56E, nos povoados, cidades e campos aonde chegavam, colocavam os doentes nas praças e pediam-lhe para tocar, ao menos, a barra de sua veste. E todos quantos o tocavam ficavam curados. – Palavra da salvação.

Ó Jesus, infatigável missionário do Reino, nos vilarejos, nas cidades e nos campos, onde quer que compareças, muitas pessoas colocam os doentes diante de ti, convencidas de que basta tocar nas Tuas vestes para serem curados. E assim acontece. Fé sem medida. Fé eficaz. Amém.

To Pray

Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos 1,29-39 – Naquele tempo, 29Jesus saiu da sinagoga e foi, com Tiago e João, para a casa de Simão e André. 30A sogra de Simão estava de cama, com febre, e eles logo contaram a Jesus. 31E ele se aproximou, segurou sua mão e ajudou-a a levantar-se. Então, a febre desapareceu, e ela começou a servi-los. 32À tarde, depois do pôr do sol, levaram a Jesus todos os doentes e os possuídos pelo demônio. 33A cidade inteira se reuniu em frente da casa. 34Jesus curou muitas pessoas de diversas doenças e expulsou muitos demônios. E não deixava que os demônios falassem, pois sabiam quem ele era. 35De madrugada, quando ainda estava escuro, Jesus se levantou e foi rezar num lugar deserto. 36Simão e seus companheiros foram à procura de Jesus. 37Quando o encontraram, disseram: “Todos estão te procurando”. 38Jesus respondeu: “Vamos a outros lugares, às aldeias da redondeza! Devo pregar também ali, pois foi para isso que eu vim”. 39E andava por toda a Galileia, pregando em suas sinagogas e expulsando os demônios. – Palavra da salvação.

I must also preach there, because that's what I came for ”. 39And he walked all over Galilee, preaching in his synagogues and casting out demons. - Word of salvation.

Ó Jesus Mestre, sem trégua é Tua atividade missionária. Começas discretamente curando a sogra de Pedro; depois, curas grande número de enfermos. Vais a um lugar deserto para rezar. E, no dia seguinte, partes para outras aldeias. Benditos os corações que, em toda parte, te procuram e encontram. Amém.

To Pray
