“Quem blasfemar contra o Espírito Santo nunca será perdoado”

"Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven"

1a. Leitura - 2 Samuel 5,1-7.10

Leitura do segundo livro de Samuel – Naqueles dias, ¹todas as tribos de Israel vieram encontrar-se com Davi em Hebron e disseram-lhe: “Aqui estamos. Somos teus ossos e tua carne. ²Tempo atrás, quando Saul era nosso rei, eras tu que dirigias os negócios de Israel. E o Senhor te disse: ‘Tu apascentarás o meu povo Israel e serás o seu chefe’”. ³Vieram, pois, todos os anciãos de Israel até o rei em Hebron. O rei Davi fez com eles uma aliança em Hebron, na presença do Senhor, e eles o ungiram rei de Israel. ⁴Davi tinha trinta anos quando começou a reinar e reinou quarenta anos: ⁵sete anos e seis meses sobre Judá, em Hebron, e trinta e três anos em Jerusalém, sobre todo o Israel e Judá. ⁶Davi marchou então com seus homens para Jerusalém, contra os jebuseus que habitavam aquela terra. King David made a covenant with them in Hebron in the presence of the Lord, and they anointed him king of Israel. 4Davi was thirty years old when he began to reign, and reigned forty years: 5 years and six months over Judah in Hebron and thirty-three years in Jerusalem over all Israel and Judah. ​​6Davi then marched with his men to Jerusalem against the Jews. Proclamação do evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos – Naquele tempo, ²²os mestres da lei, que tinham vindo de Jerusalém, diziam que ele estava possuído por Belzebu e que pelo príncipe dos demônios ele expulsava os demônios. ²³Então Jesus os chamou e falou-lhes em parábolas: “Como é que satanás pode expulsar a satanás? ²⁴Se um reino se divide contra si mesmo, ele não poderá manter-se. ²⁵Se uma família se divide contra si mesma, ela não poderá manter-se. ²⁶Assim, se satanás se levanta contra si mesmo e se divide, não poderá sobreviver, mas será destruído. ²⁷Ninguém pode entrar na casa de um homem forte para roubar seus bens sem antes o amarrar. Só depois poderá saquear sua casa. ²⁸Em verdade vos digo, tudo será perdoado aos homens, tanto os pecados como qualquer blasfêmia que tiverem dito. ²⁹Mas quem blasfemar contra o Espírito Santo nunca será perdoado; será culpado de um pecado eterno”. ³⁰Jesus falou isso porque diziam: “Ele está possuído por um espírito mau”. – Palavra da salvação.

Gospel - Marcos 3,22-30

Refletindo o Evangelho

No episódio anterior, os parentes de Jesus chegaram para impedir sua atividade, pois suspeitavam que ele estivesse “louco”. Agora vem uma carga mais pesada. Efetiva campanha de difamação. Trata-se de uma comitiva oficial. São os doutores da Lei, “descidos de Jerusalém”. Querem desqualificar a pessoa e a obra de Jesus. A acusação é gravíssima, como se Jesus fosse o agente do rival satanás (v. 22). Jesus pede que eles se aproximem para ouvir bem, e demonstra que o argumento deles é falho (v. 23). Atribuir a satanás o que é ação de Deus é blasfemar contra o Espírito Santo. Maior não é o chefe dos demônios; maior é Jesus que age pela força do Espírito Santo. Não aceitar essa verdade é negar a evidência, é não acolher Jesus, é pecar contra o Espírito Santo.

Reflecting the Gospel

In the previous episode, Jesus' relatives came to prevent his activity, as they suspected that he was "crazy." Now comes a heavier load. Effective defamation campaign. This is an official entourage. The accusation is most grievous, as if Jesus were the agent of Satan's rival (v. 22). Jesus asks them to come together to hear well, and demonstrates that their argument is flawed (verse 23). To attribute to satan what God's action is to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit. Greater is not the chief of demons; the greater is Jesus who acts by the power of the Holy Spirit. Not accepting this truth is denying the evidence, it is not welcoming Jesus, it is sinning against the Holy Spirit.
