Do not make my father's House a House of Commerce!

1a. Leitura - Ezequiel 47,1-2.8-9.12
– Palavra do Senhor.

1st Reading - Ezekiel 47,1-2.8-9.12
Reading the prophecy of Ezekiel - in those days, 1 man made me go back to the entrance of the temple and behold out your water underground part in East direction, because the temple was returned to the East; the water ran from the right side of the temple, South of the altar. 2 he made me walk out the door that leads to the North and made me take a walk outside to the door that leads to the East, where I saw the water gushing out from the right side. 8 Then he said to me: "these waters flow into the eastern region, down to the Jordan Valley, leading into the salty waters of the sea, and they will become healthy. 9 Where the river reach, all animals that move may live. There will be fish in quantity, because there flow the waters that bring health; and there will be life where you reach the river. 12 on the banks on the River, on both sides, will grow all kinds of fruit trees; their leaves will wither and fruit never will: each month will give new fruits, because the waters bathing the trees come out of the sanctuary. Their fruit will serve as food and their leaves will be medicine. " -The word of the Lord.

Gospel - John 2,13-22
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John - 13 Was next Easter of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14 in the temple, found sellers of oxen, sheep and doves, and the money changers who were sitting there. 15 made a whip of cords, and drove all from the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; spread the coins and overthrew the tables of the money changers. 16 and said to those who sold doves: "Take it out! Do not make my father's House a House of Commerce. " 17 his disciples remembered later that the Scripture says: "the zeal for your House will consume me." 18 So the Jews asked Jesus: "what sign you show us to act like this?" 19 he said, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will lift up". 20 the Jews said: "it took 46 years to build this temple, and you rise in three days?" 21 but Jesus was speaking of the Temple of your body. 22 When Jesus rose from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said and believed in Deed and in Word. -The word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

Who does not carry your cross cannot be my disciple.

1a. Leitura - Romanos 13,8-10
– Palavra do Senhor.

1st Reading - Romans 13,8-10
Reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Romans – Brothers, 8 do not owe anything to anyone but the mutual love, for who loves the next is in compliance with the law. 9 indeed, the commandments: "you shall not commit adultery", "thou shalt not kill", "thou shalt not steal," "thou shalt not covet" and any other commandment boil down to this: "you shall love your neighbor as yourself". 10 love does no wrong against the next. Therefore, love is the perfect fulfillment of the law. -The word of the Lord.

Evangelho - Lucas 14,25-33

Gospel - Luke 14,25-33
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke-at that time, 25 large crowds accompanied Jesus. Turning, he said to them: 26 "If anyone comes to me, but don't let go of your father and your mother, your wife and children, his brothers and sisters and even your own life, cannot be my disciple. 27 Who does not carry your cross and does not walk after me cannot be my disciple. 28 in fact, which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, 29 he will launch the Foundation and will not be able to finish. And all who see it begin to mock him, saying: 30 ' this man began to build and was not able to finish. ' 31 or what King, going out to war with another, not sit down first and examines well, with 10000 men, could face the other coming against him with 20000? 32 If he sees you can't, while the other is still King, sends messengers to negotiate the terms of peace. 33 Similarly, so any one of you, if you don't give up everything he has cannot be my disciple. "-the word of salvation..

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
Jesus requires total availability of who wants to follow him. It's not about spend a few hours with the teacher to hear him lecture interesting; either is to attend a spectacular healing session, capable of awakening the admiration of spectators or leave them speechless. Following Jesus implies abandoning all the bouncers, represented for the family and for life itself, that is, for a lifestyle that involves administration of goods, often to the practice of injustice. So what if the disciple is your total requires willingness to follow him to death for righteousness ' sake. In no time, Jesus says that this choice is easy. For this, he recommends, through the two parables, which make the correct calculations prior to any decision to follow him.

You will receive the reward on the resurrection of the righteous.

1a. Leitura - Romanos 11,29-36
– Palavra do Senhor.

1st Reading - Romans 11,29-36
Reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Romans – Brothers, 29 the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable. 30 Once, you were disobedient to God but now have been given mercy because of their disobedience. 31 So are they now the disobedient, so that, as a result of mercy used with you, reach finally mercy. 32 in fact, God ended all men in disobedience, in order to exercise mercy to all. 33 o the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How inscrutable are his judgments and his ways impenetrable. 34 indeed, who knew the thoughts of the Lord? Or who was your counselor? 35 Or who beat me to give you something, in order to be entitled to compensation? 36 actually, everything belongs to him, for him and for him. To him, the glory forever. Amen! -The word of the Lord.

Evangelho - Lucas 14,12-14

Gospel - Luke 14,12-14

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke - at that time, Jesus said to the Chief, 12 of the Pharisees who had asked: "when thou doest a lunch or a dinner, don't invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or your wealthy neighbors. Because these could also invite you and that would be your reward. 13 on the other hand, when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind. 14 Then you will be happy! Because they can't repay. You will receive the reward on the resurrection of the righteous ". -The word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel

We are influenced by a mercantilist society, where everything has a price; nothing is done without payment. This mindset affects also the Christians, despite the insistent invitations from Jesus to drown us in the paths of gratuity. Is the lesson that comes from the Gospel of today. The orientation of the master is to do good to those who cannot reciprocate in kind. Help generously to the weak and the charity are healthy and recommended exercises disinterested to resemble us Jesus, everything offered, with nothing expected in return. It is not just to share material goods, but can include, among the gifts, time, understanding, good advice. In addition to experience joy for the gesture itself, we will be benefited with the reward on "resurrection of the righteous".

Bem-aventuranças.
Beatitudes.

1a. Leitura - Apocalipse 7,2-4.9-14
E adoravam a Deus, dizendo: 12 “Amém. – Palavra do Senhor.

1st Reading - Revelation 7,2-4.9-14
Reading the book of revelation of St. John - I, John, saw 2 other Angel, which climbed on the side where the sun rises, he would bring the mark of God alive and screaming in a loud voice, to the four angels who had received the power to damage the land and the sea , telling them: 3 "hurt Not the Earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have marked on the forehead the servants of our God." 4 I heard so the number of those who had been marked: were 144,000, of all the tribes of the children of Israel. 9 after that, I saw a crowd of people of all Nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, which no one could count. Stood before the throne and to the Lamb; trajavam white robes and brought palms on hand. 10 All proclaimed with strong voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne and to the lamb." 11 all the Angels were standing around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and prostravam, with his face to the Earth, before the throne. And worshipped the God, saying: 12 "Amen. Praise and glory and wisdom and Thanksgiving, honour, power and power belong to our God forever. Amen ". 13 and one of elders spoke to me and asked: "Who are these, clothed with white clothes? Where did they come from? " 14 I answered: "whatever you say, my Lord." And then he told me: "These are the ones that came of the great tribulation. Washed and targeted his clothes in the blood of the Lamb ". -The word of the Lord.

Evangelho - Mateus 5,1-12

Gospel - Matthew 5,1-12
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew – at that time, 1 see Jesus the crowds, ascended the mount and sat. The disciples approached, 2 and Jesus began to teach them: 3 "blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. 4 blessed are those afflicted, for they shall be comforted. 5 blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the Earth. 6 blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. 7 blessed are the merciful shall obtain mercy. 8 blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. 9 blessed are those that promote peace, for they shall be called sons of God. 10 blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness ' sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. 11 blessed are you when they revile and persecute, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for my sake. 12 rejoice and Exult, because your reward is great in heaven ". -The word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
Who are the Saints? All that, animated by charity, live and die in God's grace can be called saints; in special sense, however, are those the Church has raised to the honours of the altars for having practiced the virtues of heroic manner or by giving their lives for the cause of faith. About the intercession of Saints, the Catechism of the Catholic Church States: "They do not cease to intercede with the father for us, showing the merits that have attained on Earth by the sole mediator of God and men, Christ Jesus. Therefore, by their solicitude, sisterly our weakness gets the most valuable aid "(b. 956). The Beatitudes are the path proposed by Jesus to a life consistent with the Kingdom of God on this earth, the eternal communion with God in heaven.

Quem se eleva será humilhado e quem se humilha será elevado.
Who rises will be humiliated and who humbleth himself shall be high.

1a. Leitura - Romanos 11,1-2.11-12.25-29
– Palavra do Senhor.

1st Reading - Romans 11,1-2.11-12.25-29
Reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Romans – Brothers, 1 I wonder: does God rejected your people? In any way. Because I'm also Israeli, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God has not rejected the your people, that he has always been considered. 11 I wonder: do they stumbled to fall? No, not at all. In fact, the misstep that they gave served to the salvation of the Gentiles, and the salvation of the Gentiles, by your time, should serve to arouse jealousy in them. 12 if the misstep was wealth to the world and the small number of believers among them was wealth to the pagans, that wealth will not be joining them all to the Gospel! 25 brethren, not to be smug because of your wisdom, it is important to know the mystery, namely: the hardening of a part of Israel is to last until all of the Gentiles has come in salvation. 26 and so all Israel will be saved, as it is written, "of Zion will come the deliverer; It will take turn away ungodliness from Jacob. 27 this is the realization of my Covenant with them when I take away their sins. 28 in fact, with respect to the Gospel they are enemies for your benefit, but, with respect to the divine choice, they are loved on account of the Patriarchs. 29 for the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable. -The word of the Lord.

Evangelho - Lucas 14,1.7-11

Gospel - Luke 14,1.7-11
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke - 1 pass that, on a Sabbath day, Jesus was eating at the House of one of the leaders of the Pharisees. And they watched. 7 Jesus noticed how the guests chose the first places. Then he told them a parable: 8 "When you're invited to a wedding feast, do not take the first place. You may have been invited someone more important than you, 9 and the owner of the House, who invited the two, come to tell you: ' gives rise to it. Then you will be embarrassed and will occupy the last place. 10 but when you are invited, go sit in last place. So, when you get who invited you, you will say, ' Buddy, come up higher '. And it will be an honor for you in front of all the guests. 11 Because who rises will be humiliated and who humbleth himself shall be high ". -The word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
Jesus accepts the invitation of the Chief of the Pharisees, but can be feast-trap! In the previous text, we consider the presence and significance of man with fluid retention (dropsy). Jesus takes advantage of the presence of the guests to instruct them. Using the occasion of the feast, reality common to people of all time, Jesus leaves us the lesson of humility. The pride of the people who want to occupy the first places, always bearing in mind that these are reserved to those who are humble. Therefore, for education, care and humility, you might want to occupy the last place. If the person is invited to come "up high", appreciation for her. In the Kingdom of God, Jesus says repeatedly, the greater is the server; the place of honor is the last: who humbleth himself shall be high!

Jesus cura em dia de sábado.

Jesus healing on the Sabbath day.

1a. Leitura - Romanos 9,1-5
– Palavra do Senhor.

1st Reading - Romans 9,1-5
Reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Romans – Brothers, 1 I'm not lying, but in Christ, I say the truth, based on the testimony of the Holy Spirit and my conscience: 2 in my heart a great sadness and a continuous pain, 3 to the point you want to be myself segregated by Christ in fav or of my brothers, those of my race. 4 They are Israelites. To them belong the adoptive sonship, the glory, the Covenants, the law, the worship, the 5 promises and also the Patriarchs. One is that descends, as for your humanity, Christ, who is above all, God blessed forever! Amen! -The word of the Lord.

Evangelho - Lucas 14,1-6

Gospel - Luke 14,1-6
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke - 1 pass that, on a Sabbath day, Jesus was eating at the House of one of the leaders of the Pharisees. And they watched. 2 before Jesus, there was a dropsical. 3 Taking the word, Jesus spoke to the teachers of the law and the Pharisees: "the law allows you to heal on the Sabbath or not?" 4 But they were silent. Then Jesus took the man by the hand, healed him and fired him. 5 Then said: "if any of you has a son or an ox that fell down a well, don't take it off, even on the Sabbath day?" 6 and they were not able to answer that. -The word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
The dropsical man (full of water) symbolizes the bloated people by the teaching of the Pharisees. The woman bent (Lk 13.11) and dropsical man are a caricature of the downtrodden people. Contrary to the teaching of the Pharisees, Jesus restores the human being and restores the ability to assimilate for yourself the proposed content. Despite the severe prohibition contained in the sabbatical, home is on that day that Jesus liberates the sick of your illness (dropsy). Every institution tends to overpower people, enforcing laws and more laws. For Jesus, however, all must be at the service of the person. Human life is above anything else, even the most sacred institution, which is Saturday. The Pharisees, however, kept people swollen, this is sick, on the pretext of serving the God.

E eu o ressuscitarei no último dia”. – Palavra da salvação.

And I bring to life on the last day ". -The word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
It may be that the day we celebrate all the faithful departed is a sorry day in the heart of many people. There's longing, need that loved one. However, we must look for the hand of faith and hope, because that's where God leads us, for his presence and today we celebrate our salvation, If we look at things only from human form, let's face death as a tragedy as sad, as an end. The one who gave us life, here on Earth, is the same that gives us life in its fullness, in the House, with him. Is that sure, that trust that we have, we can't face death as pagans or as those who do not know God. There is a tendency to look at death as the end of it: "it's over. Life here, period. " What to many is the end point for us is the start point, the end point, is the point of glory, glorification of all human effort. Don't look at the death with disbelief, I didn't think of it as tragedy. Although, often, she gets in the middle of us unexpectedly, through tragic or sad situations, God is one that transforms all things, nothing is lost. All things compete for the sake of those who are waiting for him. Let's not forget to pray for brothers who have passed on. All this serve also to prepare ourselves better, to make us, every day, in the pursuit of eternity, the place that God has prepared on each of the father. Jesus pronounces words of comfort and hope. We are not abandoned, alone, without direction, without master, without a shepherd. Jesus is the giver of life; He does not reject anybody, did come down from heaven for us, "came down from heaven, not to do my will, but the will of him who sent me. And the will of him who sent me is that I don't lose any of what he gave me. " Jesus and the Father want abundant life to all. Unique and indispensable requirement of Jesus is to believe him. Believe is not simply feed good thoughts or tell the mouth out "I believe". The faith requires the practice of the works of Justice, brotherhood and mercy. So, Yes, we can be sure of eternal life: "I bring to life on the last day". Salvation will only be complete with the resurrection.
