"A messe é grande, mas os trabalhadores são poucos".

"The harvest is large, but the workers are few".

Eu sou o bom pastor, conheço minhas ovelhas, / e elas me conhecem, assim fala o Senhor (Jo 10,14). – Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Mateus 9,32-38 – Naquele tempo, 32apresentaram a Jesus um homem mudo, que estava possuído pelo demônio. 33Quando o demônio foi expulso, o mudo começou a falar. As multidões ficaram admiradas e diziam: “Nunca se viu coisa igual em Israel”. 34Os fariseus, porém, diziam: “É pelo chefe dos demônios que ele expulsa os demônios”. 35Jesus percorria todas as cidades e povoados, ensinando em suas sinagogas, pregando o Evangelho do Reino e curando todo tipo de doença e enfermidade. 36Vendo Jesus as multidões, compadeceu-se delas, porque estavam cansadas e abatidas como ovelhas que não têm pastor. Então disse a seus discípulos: 37″A messe é grande, mas os trabalhadores são poucos. 38Pedi, pois, ao dono da messe que envie trabalhadores para a sua colheita!” – Palavra da salvação.

Gospel

Then he said to his disciples: 37 ″ The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38I asked the owner of the harvest to send workers to harvest it! ” - Word of salvation.

Reflexão

O trabalho pelo Reino de Deus é imenso, faltam operários, então é necessário pedir ao Pai celeste que “envie trabalhadores para a sua colheita”. Apesar do empenho de Jesus em benefício da população enferma, surgem os fariseus para insultá-lo. Dizem que ele age pelo poder dos demônios. Atribuição ofensiva e descabida. É pelo poder de Deus que Jesus realiza suas obras. A maioria do povo sabe disso e o manifesta: “As multidões ficaram maravilhadas”. Qual é a sua colaboração para fortalecer o Reino de Deus?

Reflection

The work for the Kingdom of God is immense, there is a lack of workers, so it is necessary to ask the heavenly Father to "send workers for his harvest". Despite Jesus' efforts to benefit the sick population, the Pharisees appear to insult him. They say he acts by the power of demons. Offensive and unreasonable attribution. It is by the power of God that Jesus performs his works. Most of the people know this and say it: "The crowds were amazed". What is your collaboration to strengthen the Kingdom of God?
