Evangelho - Marcos 16,15-20
Proclamação do evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Marcos – Naquele tempo, Jesus se manifestou aos onze discípulos 15e disse-lhes: “Ide pelo mundo inteiro e anunciai o evangelho a toda criatura! 16Quem crer e for batizado será salvo. Quem não crer será condenado. 17Os sinais que acompanharão aqueles que crerem serão estes: expulsarão demônios em meu nome, falarão novas línguas; 18se
pegarem em serpentes ou beberem algum veneno mortal, não lhes fará mal
algum; quando impuserem as mãos sobre os doentes, eles ficarão curados”.
19Depois de falar com os discípulos, o Senhor Jesus foi levado ao céu e sentou-se à direita de Deus. 20Os
discípulos então saíram e pregaram por toda parte. O Senhor os ajudava e
confirmava sua palavra por meio dos sinais que a acompanhavam. –
Palavra da salvação.

of the gospel of Jesus Christ According to Mark - At that time Jesus
spoke to the eleven disciples and said to them: "Go into the whole world
and preach the gospel to every creature! 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved. Whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17
The signs that will accompany those who believe will be these: they
will cast out demons in my name, they will speak new tongues; If they take snakes or drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; when they lay their hands on the sick, they shall be healed. " 19After speaking with the disciples, the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. 20The disciples went out and preached everywhere. The Lord helped them and confirmed their word through the signs that accompanied it. - Word of salvation.
Refletindo o Evangelho
O evangelista Marcos não pertenceu ao grupo dos doze apóstolos,
porém deve ter sido discípulo de Jesus. Pertencia a uma família de
Jerusalém, que pôs sua casa à disposição dos primeiros cristãos (cf. At
12,12-16). Participou da primeira viagem apostólica de Paulo (At 12,25;
13,5). Marcos acompanhou Pedro a Roma e prestou-lhe serviços durante a
prisão do chefe dos apóstolos (cf. Cl 4,10). Se estas informações se
confirmam, ficamos sabendo que Marcos extraiu de fontes genuínas o
evangelho que ele põe por escrito, “o Evangelho de Marcos”. As últimas
palavras do seu evangelho testemunham que muitos sinais e prodígios
haveriam de acompanhar e confirmar a obra dos seguidores de Jesus. Isso
de fato aconteceu; a Igreja primitiva o comprova (ler Atos dos
Apóstolos).
Reflecting the Gospel
"The evangelist Mark did not belong to the group of twelve apostles, but he must have been a disciple of Jesus. He belongs to a family from Jerusalem, who made his house available to the first Christians (Acts 12: 12-16). He participated in Paul's first apostolic journey (Acts 12,25; 13,5). Mark accompanied Peter to Rome and rendered him services during the arrest of the chief of the apostles (cf. Colossians 4:10). If
this information is confirmed, we learn that Mark has drawn from
genuine sources the gospel that he puts down in writing, "the Gospel of
Mark." The last words of his gospel testify that many signs and wonders would follow and confirm the work of the followers of Jesus. This has indeed happened; the early Church proves it (see Acts of the Apostles)."
