Gospel of the day
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 1,35-42 - At that time, 35João was again with two of his disciples 36 and, seeing Jesus pass by, said: "Behold the Lamb of God!" 37Hearing these words, the two disciples followed Jesus. 38 Turning to them and seeing that they were following him, Jesus asked, "What are you looking for?" They said: "Rabbi (meaning master), where do you live?" 39Jesus replied, "Come and see." So they went to see where he lived and that day they stayed with him. It was around four in the afternoon. 40André, brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard John's words and followed Jesus. 41He went to meet his brother Simon first and said to him, "We found the Messiah" (which means Christ). 42Then Andrew led Simon to Jesus.
It is not the healthy people who need a doctor, but the sick.

Evangelho do dia

Gospel of the day
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 2,13-17 - At that time, 13 Jesus went out again to the seashore. The whole crowd came to meet him, and Jesus taught them. 14As he passed by, Jesus saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the tax office and said to him, "Follow me!" Levi got up and followed him. 15And it came to pass that, at the table in Levi's house, many tax collectors and sinners were also at the table with Jesus and his disciples. Indeed, there were many who followed him. 16Some doctors of the Law, who were Pharisees, saw that Jesus was eating with sinners and tax collectors. Then they asked the disciples, "Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?" 17 Having heard, Jesus answered them: “It is not the healthy people who need a doctor, but the sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners ”. - Word of salvation.

Para rezar
Ó Jesus, divino Mestre, desta vez ensinas as multidões, à beira-mar.

To Pray
O Jesus, divine Master, this time teach the crowds, by the sea. As you pass, you invite a tax collector to follow you. You are criticized for eating in the company of sinners and tax collectors. In answering, you clarify Your mission, since you did not come to call the just, but sinners. Amen.

‘Levanta-te, pega a tua cama e anda.
Get up, get your bed and walk.

Evangelho do dia
E Jesus anunciava-lhes a Palavra.

Gospel of the day
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 2,1-12 - 1A few days later, Jesus entered Capernaum again. The news soon spread that he was at home. 2And so many people gathered there, that there was no place even before the door. And Jesus announced the Word to them. 3 Then a paralytic was brought to him, carried by four men. 4But failing to reach Jesus, because of the crowd, they opened the roof, right above the place where he was. Through this opening they descended the bed on which the paralytic was lying. 5When he saw the faith of those men, Jesus said to the paralytic: "Son, your sins are forgiven." 6 Now, some teachers of the Law, who were sitting there, reflected in their hearts: 7 “How can this man speak like that? He is blaspheming: no one can forgive sins, except God ”. 8Jesus immediately realized what they were thinking inwardly and said: “Why do you think so in your hearts? 9What is easier, saying to the paralytic: 'Your sins are forgiven' or saying: 'Get up, get your bed and walk'? 10 Well, so that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins - he said to the paralytic - 11 I command you: get up, get your bed and go to your house! ” 12The paralytic then got up and, carrying his bed, went out in front of everyone. And they were all amazed and praised God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this." - Word of salvation.

To Pray
O Jesus, Son of Man, while announcing the Word, they brought you a paralytic, that you might heal him. You have previously forgiven your sins, for God has given you the power to effect both physical and spiritual healing. Deliver us, Lord, from all sin and all kinds of paralysis. Amen.

Evangelho do dia

Go, show yourself to the priest and offer, for your purification, what Moses commanded, as evidence for them! ” 45He went and started telling and publicizing the fact a lot. Aí chegavam as pessoas e eram batizadas.

Gospel of the day
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 3,22-30 - At that time, 22Jesus went with his disciples to the region of Judea. He stayed there with them and baptized. 23John was also baptizing at Enon, near Salim, where there was plenty of water. Then people came and were baptized. 24João had not yet been put in prison. 25Some John's disciples were arguing with a Jew about purification. 26They went to John and said, "Rabbi, the one who was with you beyond the Jordan, and of whom you gave testimony, is now baptizing, and everyone is going to him." 27John replied, “No one can receive anything unless it is given to him from heaven. 28You yourselves are witnesses to what I said: 'I am not the Messiah, but I was sent in front of him'. 29 It is the bridegroom who receives the bride, but the friend, who is present and listens to him, is filled with joy when he hears the bridegroom's voice. This is my joy, and it is complete. 30 It is necessary for it to grow and for me to decrease ”. - Word of salvation.

E, imediatamente, a lepra o deixou. 14E Jesus recomendou-lhe: “Não digas nada a ninguém.
