Aleluia, aleluia, aleluia. Acreditaste, Tomé, porque me viste. / Felizes os que creram sem ter visto! (Jo 20,29) – Proclamação do evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo João 20,19-31 – 19Ao anoitecer daquele dia, o primeiro da semana, estando fechadas, por medo dos judeus, as portas do lugar onde os discípulos se encontravam, Jesus entrou e, pondo-se no meio deles, disse: “A paz esteja convosco”. 20Depois dessas palavras, mostrou-lhes as mãos e o lado. Então os discípulos se alegraram por verem o Senhor. 21Novamente, Jesus disse: “A paz esteja convosco. Como o Pai me enviou, também eu vos envio”. 22E depois de ter dito isso, soprou sobre eles e disse: “Recebei o Espírito Santo. 23A quem perdoardes os pecados, eles lhes serão perdoados; a quem os não perdoardes, eles lhes serão retidos”. 24Tomé, chamado Dídimo, que era um dos doze, não estava com eles quando Jesus veio. 25Os outros discípulos contaram-lhe depois: “Vimos o Senhor!” Mas Tomé disse-lhes: “Se eu não vir a marca dos pregos em suas mãos, se eu não puser o dedo nas marcas dos pregos e não puser a mão no seu lado, não acreditarei”. 26Oito dias depois, encontravam-se os discípulos novamente reunidos em casa, e Tomé estava com eles. Estando fechadas as portas, Jesus entrou, pôs-se no meio deles e disse: “A paz esteja convosco”. 27Depois disse a Tomé: “Põe o teu dedo aqui e olha as minhas mãos. Estende a tua mão e coloca-a no meu lado. E não sejas incrédulo, mas fiel”. 28Tomé respondeu: “Meu Senhor e meu Deus!” 29Jesus lhe disse: “Acreditaste porque me viste? Bem-aventurados os que creram sem terem visto!” 30Jesus realizou muitos outros sinais diante dos discípulos que não estão escritos neste livro. 31Mas estes foram escritos para que acrediteis que Jesus é o Cristo, o Filho de Deus, e para que, crendo, tenhais a vida em seu nome. – Palavra da salvação.

(Jn 20,29) - Proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 20,19-31 - 19Dusk of that day, the first of the week, being closed, for fear of the Jews, the doors of the place where the disciples were, Jesus he entered and, standing among them, said: "Peace be with you". 20 After those words, he showed them his hands and side. Then the disciples were glad to see the Lord. 21 Again, Jesus said: “Peace be with you. As the Father sent me, I also send you ”. 22And after saying that, he blew on them and said: “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 Whoever forgives sins, they will be forgiven; whoever does not forgive them, they will be withheld ”. 24 Thomas, called Didymus, who was one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25The other disciples then told him: “We have seen the Lord!” But Thomas said to them, "If I don't see the nail mark on your hands, if I don't put my finger on the nail marks and don't put my hand on your side, I won't believe it." 26Eight days later, the disciples were meeting again at home, and Thomas was with them. When the doors were closed, Jesus entered, stood among them and said: "Peace be with you". 27Then he said to Thomas: “Put your finger here and look at my hands. Extend your hand and place it on my side. And don't be incredulous, but be faithful ”. 28Tomé replied, "My Lord and my God!" 29Jesus said to him, “Did you believe because you saw me? Blessed are those who believed without having seen! ” 30Jesus performed many other signs before the disciples that are not written in this book. 31But these were written to make you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that, believing, you may have life in his name. - Word of salvation.

Reflexão
Neste domingo, o Ressuscitado se apresenta aos discípulos reunidos dentro de quatro paredes, com as portas trancadas, por medo dos judeus. Neste encontro com os seus, o Ressuscitado deseja a paz à comunidade e lhe dá o Espírito Santo para vencer o pecado. Convida-a, portanto, a viver a reconciliação. Oito dias depois, o Ressuscitado aparece novamente e ensina os discípulos a crer sem a necessidade de “ver e tocar”. É uma comunidade que acolhe e vive o dom da paz; que se deixa iluminar e fortalecer pelo Espírito Santo.

Reflection
This Sunday, the Risen One presents himself to the disciples gathered inside four walls, with the doors locked, for fear of the Jews. In this meeting with his people, the Risen One wishes peace to the community and gives him the Holy Spirit to overcome sin. It therefore invites you to live reconciliation. Eight days later, the Risen One appears again and teaches the disciples to believe without the need to "see and touch". It is a community that welcomes and lives the gift of peace; who allows himself to be enlightened and strengthened by the Holy Spirit.
