Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Lucas 9,22-25 – Naquele tempo, disse Jesus aos seus discípulos: 22“O Filho do Homem deve sofrer muito, ser rejeitado pelos anciãos, pelos sumos sacerdotes e doutores da Lei, deve ser morto e ressuscitar no terceiro dia”. 23Depois Jesus disse a todos: “Se alguém me quer seguir, renuncie a si mesmo, tome sua cruz cada dia e siga-me. 24Pois quem quiser salvar a sua vida vai perdê-la; e quem perder a sua vida por causa de mim, esse a salvará. 25Com efeito, de que adianta a um homem ganhar o mundo inteiro se se perde e se destrói a si mesmo?” – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 9,22-25 - At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: 22 “The Son of Man must suffer a lot, be rejected by the elders, by the high priests and doctors of the Law, he must be killed and resurrect on the third day ”. 23Then Jesus said to everyone, “If anyone wants to follow me, renounce yourself, take up your cross each day and follow me. 24For anyone who wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life because of me, he will save it. 25In fact, what good is it for a man to win the whole world if he loses himself and destroys himself? ” - Word of salvation.

Para rezar

Jesus, Tu revelas no evangelho que serás capturado, condenado e morto pelas mãos dos dirigentes do povo. Mas acrescentas que, no terceiro dia, ressuscitarás. Dá-nos, Senhor, a graça de compreender e viver intensamente os momentos finais de tua vida na terra. Amém.

To Pray

Jesus, you reveal in the gospel that you will be captured, condemned and killed at the hands of the leaders of the people. But you add that on the third day you will be resurrected. Lord, give us the grace to understand and live intensely the final moments of your life on earth. Amen.

Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Mateus 6,1-6.16-18 – Naquele tempo, disse Jesus aos seus discípulos: 1“Ficai atentos para não praticar a vossa justiça na frente dos homens só para serdes vistos por eles. Caso contrário, não recebereis a recompensa do vosso Pai que está nos céus. 2Por isso, quando deres esmola, não toques a trombeta diante de ti, como fazem os hipócritas nas sinagogas e nas ruas, para serem elogiados pelos homens. Em verdade vos digo, eles já receberam a sua recompensa. 3Ao contrário, quando deres esmola, que a tua mão esquerda não saiba o que faz a tua mão direita, 4de modo que a tua esmola fique oculta. E o teu Pai, que vê o que está oculto, te dará a recompensa. 5Quando orardes, não sejais como os hipócritas, que gostam de rezar em pé, nas sinagogas e nas esquinas das praças, para serem vistos pelos homens. Em verdade vos digo, eles já receberam a sua recompensa. 6Ao contrário, quando tu orares, entra no teu quarto, fecha a porta e reza ao teu Pai, que está oculto. E o teu Pai, que vê o que está escondido, te dará a recompensa. 16Quando jejuardes, não fiqueis com o rosto triste como os hipócritas. Eles desfiguram o rosto para que os homens vejam que estão jejuando. Em verdade vos digo, eles já receberam a sua recompensa. 17Tu, porém, quando jejuares, perfuma a cabeça e lava o rosto, 18para que os homens não vejam que tu estás jejuando, mas somente teu Pai, que está oculto. E o teu Pai, que vê o que está escondido, te dará a recompensa”. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 6,1-6,16-18 - At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: 1 “Be careful not to practice your justice in front of men just to be seen by them. Otherwise, you will not receive the reward from your Father in heaven. 2 Therefore, when you give alms, do not blow the trumpet before you, as hypocrites do in synagogues and in the streets, to be praised by men. Truly I tell you, they have already received their reward. 3On the contrary, when you give alms, let your left hand not know what your right hand does, 4 so that your alms are hidden. And your Father, who sees what is hidden, will give you the reward. 5When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who like to pray standing in synagogues and on the corners of squares, to be seen by men. Truly I tell you, they have already received their reward. 6On the contrary, when you pray, enter your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is hidden. And your Father, who sees what is hidden, will give you the reward. 16 When you fast, do not keep your face sad like the hypocrites. They disfigure their faces so that men can see that they are fasting.
