Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Lucas 9,22-25 – Naquele tempo, disse Jesus aos seus discípulos: 22“O Filho do Homem deve sofrer muito, ser rejeitado pelos anciãos, pelos sumos sacerdotes e doutores da Lei, deve ser morto e ressuscitar no terceiro dia”. 23Depois Jesus disse a todos: “Se alguém me quer seguir, renuncie a si mesmo, tome sua cruz cada dia e siga-me. 24Pois quem quiser salvar a sua vida vai perdê-la; e quem perder a sua vida por causa de mim, esse a salvará. 25Com efeito, de que adianta a um homem ganhar o mundo inteiro se se perde e se destrói a si mesmo?” – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 9,22-25 - At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: 22 “The Son of Man must suffer a lot, be rejected by the elders, by the high priests and doctors of the Law, he must be killed and resurrect on the third day ”. 23Then Jesus said to everyone, “If anyone wants to follow me, renounce yourself, take up your cross each day and follow me. 24For anyone who wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life because of me, he will save it. 25In fact, what good is it for a man to win the whole world if he loses himself and destroys himself? ” - Word of salvation.
Para rezar
Jesus, Tu revelas no evangelho que serás capturado, condenado e morto pelas mãos dos dirigentes do povo. Mas acrescentas que, no terceiro dia, ressuscitarás. Dá-nos, Senhor, a graça de compreender e viver intensamente os momentos finais de tua vida na terra. Amém.
To Pray
Jesus, you reveal in the gospel that you will be captured, condemned and killed at the hands of the leaders of the people. But you add that on the third day you will be resurrected. Lord, give us the grace to understand and live intensely the final moments of your life on earth. Amen.
