Leitura da carta de São Paulo aos Gálatas 1,6-12 – Irmãos, 6admiro-me de terdes abandonado tão depressa aquele que vos chamou, na graça de Cristo, e de terdes passado para um outro evangelho. 7Não que haja outro Evangelho, mas algumas pessoas vos estão perturbando e querendo mudar o Evangelho de Cristo. 8Pois bem, mesmo que nós ou um anjo vindo do céu vos pregasse um evangelho diferente daquele que vos pregamos, seja excomungado. 9Como já dissemos e agora repito: se alguém vos pregar um evangelho diferente daquele que recebestes, seja excomungado. 10Será que eu estou buscando a aprovação dos homens ou a aprovação de Deus? Ou estou procurando agradar aos homens? Se eu ainda estivesse preocupado em agradar aos homens, não seria servo de Cristo. 11Irmãos, asseguro-vos que o Evangelho pregado por mim não é conforme a critérios humanos. 12Com efeito, não o recebi nem aprendi de homem algum, mas por revelação de Jesus Cristo. – Palavra do Senhor.

Reading the letter from St. Paul to the Galatians 1,6-12 - Brothers, 6 I am amazed that you so quickly abandoned the one who called you, in the grace of Christ, and passed on to another gospel. 7Not that there is another Gospel, but some people are disturbing you and wanting to change the Gospel of Christ. 8 Well, even if we or an angel from heaven preached a gospel different from the one we preached to you, let him be excommunicated. 9As we have said and now I repeat: if anyone preaches a gospel different from the one you received, let him be excommunicated. 10 Am I seeking the approval of men or the approval of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I was still concerned with pleasing men, I would not be a servant of Christ. 11 Brothers, I assure you that the Gospel preached by me is not in accordance with human criteria. 12I did not receive it, nor did I learn it from any man, but through the revelation of Jesus Christ. - Word of the Lord.

1. Eu agradeço a Deus de todo o coração, / junto com todos os seus justos reunidos! / Que grandiosas são as obras do Senhor, / elas merecem todo o amor e admiração!

Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Lucas 10,25-37 – Naquele tempo, 25um mestre da Lei se levantou e, querendo pôr Jesus em dificuldade, perguntou: “Mestre, que devo fazer para receber em herança a vida eterna?” 26Jesus lhe disse: “O que está escrito na Lei? Como lês?” 27Ele então respondeu: “Amarás o Senhor, teu Deus, de todo o teu coração e com toda a tua alma, com toda a tua força e com toda a tua inteligência; e ao teu próximo como a ti mesmo!” 28Jesus lhe disse: “Tu respondeste corretamente. Faze isso e viverás”. 29Ele, porém, querendo justificar-se, disse a Jesus: “E quem é o meu próximo?” 30Jesus respondeu: “Certo homem descia de Jerusalém para Jericó e caiu nas mãos de assaltantes. Estes arrancaram-lhe tudo, espancaram-no e foram-se embora, deixando-o quase morto. 31Por acaso, um sacerdote estava descendo por aquele caminho. Quando viu o homem, seguiu adiante, pelo outro lado. 32O mesmo aconteceu com um levita: chegou ao lugar, viu o homem e seguiu adiante, pelo outro lado. 33Mas um samaritano, que estava viajando, chegou perto dele, viu e sentiu compaixão. 34Aproximou-se dele e fez curativos, derramando óleo e vinho nas feridas. Depois colocou o homem em seu próprio animal e levou-o a uma pensão, onde cuidou dele. 35No dia seguinte, pegou duas moedas de prata e entregou-as ao dono da pensão, recomendando: ‘Toma conta dele! Quando eu voltar, vou pagar o que tiveres gasto a mais'”. E Jesus perguntou: 36“Na tua opinião, qual dos três foi o próximo do homem que caiu nas mãos dos assaltantes?” 37Ele respondeu: “Aquele que usou de misericórdia para com ele”. Então Jesus lhe disse: “Vai e faze a mesma coisa”. – Palavra da salvação.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 10,25-37 - At that time, a teacher of the Law stood up and, wanting to put Jesus in difficulty, asked: “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 26Jesus said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read? ” 27He replied, “You will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your intelligence; and your neighbor as yourself! ” 28Jesus said to him, “You answered correctly. Do that and you will live ”. 29He, however, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" 30Jesus replied: “A certain man was coming down from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell into the hands of robbers. These took everything from him, beat him and left, leaving him almost dead. 31A priest happened to be going down that path. When he saw the man, he went on, on the other side. 32The same happened to a Levite: he arrived at the place, saw the man and went on, on the other side. 33But a Samaritan, who was traveling, came close to him, saw and felt compassion. 34 She approached him and made dressings, pouring oil and wine on the wounds. Then he put the man on his own animal and took him to a pension, where he took care of him. 35The next day, he took two silver coins and handed them to the pension owner, recommending: 'Take care of him! When I get back, I will pay what you have overpaid '”. And Jesus asked: 36 "In your opinion, which of the three was next to the man who fell into the hands of the robbers?" 37He replied, "He who showed mercy to him." Then Jesus said to him, "Go and do the same thing". - Word of salvation.
Para refletir
A pergunta do especialista da Lei – “Quem é o meu próximo?” – leva Jesus a narrar uma de suas mais eloquentes parábolas. Nem sempre os conhecedores da Lei são os que a praticam. O sacerdote e o levita, funcionários do culto, viram o homem sangrando à beira do caminho e simplesmente seguiram em frente; dois religiosos sem coração. O samaritano, ao invés, ao deparar-se com o desconhecido em situação deplorável, faz mais do que os ouvintes podiam imaginar. Enche-se de compaixão, aproxima-se dele, trata-lhe as feridas, estende-o sobre seu jumento e o conduz até a hospedaria. Providencia comida e pouso, com a promessa de passar aí, quando voltar, para acertos finais, se houver. Um estrangeiro compassivo. Não basta conhecer o mandamento do amor, é necessário praticá-lo.
To think about
The question from the Law expert - “Who is my neighbor?” - leads Jesus to narrate one of his most eloquent parables. Those who know the Law are not always the ones who practice it. The priest and the Levite, officials of the cult, saw the man bleeding on the side of the road and simply moved on; two heartless religious. The Samaritan, instead, when faced with the unknown in a deplorable situation, does more than the listeners could imagine. He is filled with compassion, approaches him, treats his wounds, stretches him on his donkey and leads him to the inn. It provides food and landing, with the promise of passing there, when it returns, for final arrangements, if any. A compassionate foreigner. It is not enough to know the commandment of love, it is necessary to practice it.
