 Por que esta gente pede um sinal? - Mc 8, 11-13 

Why these people asks for a sign? -Mc 8, 11-13

Texto Bíblico

Naquele tempo, 11os fariseus vieram e começaram a discutir com Jesus. E, para pô-lo à prova, pediam-lhe um sinal do céu. 12Mas Jesus deu um suspiro profundo e disse: “Por que esta gente pede um sinal? Em verdade vos digo, a esta gente não será dado nenhum sinal”. 13E, deixando-os, Jesus entrou de novo na barca e se dirigiu para a outra margem.

Biblical Text 
At that time, 11th Pharisees came and began to argue with Jesus. And, to put it to the test, asked him a sign from heaven. 12Mas Jesus gave a deep sigh and said: "why these people asks for a sign? Verily, these people will not be given any signal ". 13E, leaving them, Jesus came again on the ferry and headed for the other side.

Quando Jesus foi tentado pelo demônio no deserto, a segunda tentação era que ele se atirasse do pináculo do Templo, uma vez que os anjos cuidariam dele. Mas a resposta que Jesus deu ao demônio foi: "Não tentarás o Senhor teu Deus". O Evangelho de hoje nos mostra que existem pessoas que sempre estão tentando a Deus, pois, assim como os fariseus pediam um sinal do céu para por Jesus à prova, muitas pessoas querem fazer chantagem com Deus, fazendo uma série de exigências e pedidos mesquinhos para satisfazer seus desejos e fundamentam a sua fé não no amor a Deus, mas na satisfação de suas exigências.

Reflecting 
When Jesus was tempted by the devil in the desert, the second temptation was that he just threw himself from the pinnacle of the temple, as the Angels take care of him. But the answer that Jesus gave the demon was: "do not tempt the Lord thy God". Today's Gospel shows us that there are people who are always trying to God, because, just as the Pharisees asked for a sign from Heaven by Jesus, many people want to blackmail God, making a series of demands and requests to satisfy their desires and petty based on your faith in the love of God, but in the satisfaction of their demands.
