Jesus Cristo, Rei do Universo!
Jesus Christ, King of the Universe!

1a. Leitura - Ezequiel 34,11-12.15-17
16 Vou procurar a ovelha perdida, reconduzir a extraviada, enfaixar a da perna quebrada, fortalecer a doente e vigiar a ovelha gorda e forte. – Palavra do Senhor.

1st Reading - Ezekiel 34,11-12.15-17
Reading the prophecy of Ezekiel - 11 thus says the Lord God: "Behold! I will search for my sheep and look after them. 12 as a shepherd takes care of the flock, during the day, when you are in the middle of the scattered sheep, so I'm going to take care of my sheep and will rescue them from all the places that were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. 15 I will feed my sheep and make them stand-Oracle of the Lord God. 16 I'm going to look for the lost sheep, restoring misplaced, bandage the broken leg, strengthen the sick and watching the sheep fat and strong. I'm going to apascentá them as the right. 17 as for you, my sheep-thus saith the Lord God, I will do justice between one sheep and another, between sheep and goats ". -The word of the Lord.

Evangelho - Mateus 25,31-46

Gospel - Matthew 25,31-46
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew – at that time, Jesus said to his disciples: 31 "When the son of man comes in your glory, accompanied by all the angels, so shall sit in your glorious throne. 32 all peoples on Earth will be gathered before him, and he will separate from each other, as well as the Shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 and he will put the sheep on your right and the goats on your left. 34 Then the King will say to those on your right: ' come, blessed of my Father! Receive as an inheritance the Kingdom that my dad prepared since the creation of the world. 35 for I was hungry and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a foreigner and I received at home; 36 I was naked and clothed me; I was sick and cuidastes me; I was in prison and you were to see me '. 37 Then the righteous will ask you: ' Lord, when did we see you hungry and gave you food? Thirsty and give you drink? 38 when did we saw you as a foreigner and you receive at home, and unclothed and clothed you? 39 when did we see you sick or in prison and went to visit you? ' 40 the King will answer them, ' truly I say to you that every time you did this to one of the smallest of my brothers, you did me! ' 41 After the King will say to those on your left: ' get away from me, damn you! Go to the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 for I was hungry and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; 43 I was a stranger and ye have received me not at home; I was naked and clothed me; I was sick and in prison and you didn't go visit me '. 44 and answer too: ' Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty, stranger or naked, sick or in prison, and you serve? ' 45 so the King will answer them, ' truly I say to you, every time I didn't do that one of these little ones, it was me that did not! ' 46 Therefore, these will go to eternal punishment, while the righteous will go into eternal life. " -The word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
Played by strong emotion, Jesus cries at the sight of the city of Jerusalem. With that attitude, that reveals your delicate sensibilities, he expresses your first lament: "Oh, that day, you also know the message of peace!". That day refers to the time of the presence of the Messiah, who comes to establish in the world justice and peace, and of course the Union between peoples. However, the city ignored the long chain of the former prophets with their insistent calls to conversion, and now rejects Jesus himself. The other sorry refers to the destruction of the city and the terror will fall without mercy on its inhabitants. Jesus knows that all this could be avoided if they had been faithful to God. Reinforces why: the city "did not recognize the time that was visited.

If you soubessse what you can bring peace!

1a. Leitura - 1 Macabeus 2,15-29
– Palavra do Senhor.

1st Reading - 1 Maccabees 2,15-29
Reading the first book of the Maccabees – in those days, 15 delegates of King Antiochus, in charge of forcing Jews to apostasy, arrived in the city of Modin to organize the sacrifices. 16 many Israelites approached them, but Mattathias and his sons were together, apart. 17 Taking the word, the delegates of the King headed the Mattathias, saying: "you are a Chief of Fame and prestige in the city, supported by sons and brothers. 18 be the first to approach and execute the order of the King, as did all the Nations, the men of Judah and those who stayed in Jerusalem. You and your children you will be counted among the friends of the King. And ye shall be honored, you and your kids, with silver and gold and numerous gifts ". 19 With strong voice, Mattathias replied: "even if all Nations, incorporated into the Empire of King, to obey him, abandoning the religion of their forefathers and subjecting yourself to royal decrees, 20 I, my sons and my brothers will continue following the Covenant of our fathers. 21 God save us from leaving your law and his commandments. 22 do not attend to the King's orders and not in that of our religion neither to the right nor to the left ". 23 he concluded these words, a Jew went out to offer a sacrifice at the altar of Modin, according to determination of the King. 24 To see it, Mattathias flared up zeal and was deeply outraged. Taken from just anger, rushed against the man and killed him on the altar. 25 Killed also the delegate of the King, who wanted to make the sacrifice, and destroyed the altar. 26 Burned in zeal for the law, as he had done with Phinehas Zambri, son of Salu. 27 and Mattathias left screaming in a loud voice the city: "Who has love for the law and want to save the Alliance, come and follow me!" 28 Then fled, he and his sons, to the mountains, abandoning everything they owned in the city. 29 many, followers of the justice and the law, went down to the desert and settled there. -The word of the Lord.

Evangelho - Lucas 19,41-44
44 Eles esmagarão a ti e a teus filhos.

Gospel - Luke 19,41-44
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke - at that time, 41 when Jesus approached Jerusalem and saw the city, began to cry. And said: 42 "If you understand today what can bring peace. Now, however, it's hidden in your eyes! 43 days in which enemies will make trenches against you and will surround you on all sides. 44 They will crush you and your children. And don't let you stone unturned. Because you don't recognize the time you visited ". -The word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

– Palavra do Senhor.

I will dwell in the midst of you, and you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you. 16 the Lord shall enter into possession of Judah, as your portion in the Holy Land, and shall choose Jerusalem again. 17 Mute all mortal before the Lord, he just get up from your holy dwelling ". -The word of the Lord.

Evangelho - Mateus 12,46-50

47 Alguém disse a Jesus: “Olha!

Gospel - Mattews 12,46-50
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew – at that time, 46 while Jesus was speaking to the crowds, your mother and your brothers have been on the outside looking for talking to him. 47 Someone said to Jesus: "Look! Your mother and your brothers are out there and want to talk to you ". 48 Jesus asked him who had spoken: "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?" 49 and, reaching out to the disciples, Jesus said, "Behold, my mother and my brothers. 50 Because whoever does the will of my father which is in heaven, this is my brother, my sister and my mother. " -The word of salvation.

Refletindo o Evangelho

Reflecting the Gospel
The Gospels inform nothing about Mary's childhood. However, in light of what we know, we Intuit that the childhood and Adolescence of the mother of God have been fully disclosed by the grace of God. Even without taking into account the uplifting stories of the New Testament Apocrypha, we can see a clear message that emerges from the feast of the presentation of our Lady: the heart of Mary has always been geared toward the will of God. The emergence of this party took place in the East in the sixth century. Only in the 14th century is that Rome introduced in your liturgical calendar. Despite the uncertainties, due to the lack of biblical and historical reasons, the celebration was held in the current Roman calendar, not as a party but as "memory".
